Donna Lackluster 23
Well, actually yes! A little.Although we tender lumplings tend to think that the master only does these kinda toons because someone's pointing a gun to his head,I believe that Mr. Elfman, now 60, does them mostly for his kids. Thor 3563
Yeah, I got the CD awhile back. Haven't played it much, as I found it rather disappointing -- just another run-of-the-mill animation score. That's not the Elfman I dig these days. Give me more THE UNKNOWN KNOWN, PROMISED LAND, RESTLESS, THE NEXT THREE DAYS etc.
crocodile 4839
I do agree with Thor on this Karol
mstrox 3924
Yeah, Elfman in his comfort zone is not my favorite listen, and that's the reason I've loved so few of his scores since Alice in Wonderland. I liked this one better than Epic, though - probably about on par with Frankenweenie. The Unknown Known is a recent highlight for me, definitely.
Koray Savas 1737
I thought it was a lot better than the other stuff he's been churning out lately. crocodile
crocodile 4839
It's a step below SOP but that can be forgiven. That 2008 work is among his finest imo.Karol
