Top ten works. So really you could be as blunt as saying The Royal Fireworks but preferably specify. Ex. Overture from the Royal Fireworks. Sorry about the clarity. No real order is necessary.

I've heard of Scarlatti but I haven't heard Scarlatti. Braden burg Concertos are a yes especially No. 3 Allegro. The two Bach cantatas are very good ,yes. Is that the Te Deum Fanfare there? And I personally own the full double trumpet concerto by Vivaldi and it is really nice.

The one I talk about is a Grand Motet, the first movements of these works are called "Symphonie", it's maybe the same I don't know how they say it in english.

Well, all the Baroque works are similar... except J.S. Bach's works...

Yep. Vivaldi is the strings. Bach always has the harpsichord in there. Handel has a very signature sound to it. It is probably the easiest time period to determine when listening to classical music. Unless you listen to modern classical like Einaudi.

No but yes. It is not all you need but it is the greatest.

Händel's Messiah is definitely exciting.

 

And while Vivaldi has many not-that-interesting concertos, some of them are quite sublime. Like this one:

Handel's Messiah isn't bad, but I sat through it live two years ago. There are no surprises anywhere and then I'm not even talking about the fact that the lyrics fit on, like, one page, and that it's a two/three-hours thing.

I'm going to see it live in April (Handel's Messiah). I think it's simply the name its made for itself is what puts it on the list for a lot of people.It's a bit of a default but its still good.

Yeah. To expand what I said earlier their are plenty of other equally awesome Baroque pieces. It's just that The Messiah's fame seems to put it on the top of people's lists.
