Incanus 5,715
Farewell Neverland is a great finale to the score of Hook. I love when the 'childhood' theme and the 'adult' theme (or Wendy's theme) battle for the finish. It's over 10 mins...TimAnd pure magic from start to finish. You just reminded me how great the cue is. I have to go and listen to it now
robthehand 3
Totally agree - amazing cue! I've only recently started to realise just how great the score is (after reading John Takis' analysis...).
Incanus 5,715
I am just listening to the Complete score bootleg of Hook after many months and this score reminds me of what is a brilliant movie score. It is so complex yet so accessible. Full of movie magic and power of music. It elevates the movie and works as an independent listening experience. A perfect score in every way. Sublime themes and orchestrations and it is performed with utter skill. I just love it. I wish there was a complete release.*sigh*
BurgaFlippinMan 7
wish the movie was up to the score. *sigh*
