Actually shocking is a quotation from the CD description:

"This special CD was sent only to select members of the Hollywood community for awards consideration. It's in MINT condition and has never been used."

LOL

Non of the three songs nominated should have won.

All three were crap, I don't like rap music to start with.

WHAT??

IN THE DEEP was phenominal, especially its use in CRASH.

I just listened to the score to Broke Back Mountain. Are you Kidding me??!!

My jaws dropped as to how ridiculous it is that Williams lost to this very short, very boring and very unskilled score. Unbelievable!

It goes to show that you win or lose not on the basis of skill or talent, but on popularity. The last few years, Williams lost again and again to much inferior artists. And I mean MUCH!!!

Very sad indeed.

If you realize that the majority of what deserves the Oscars, doesn't win, and live with that, you'll know that Williams should have much ore than what he has.

He's just too good to be on the same level of all the other composers.

I'm pretty sure Williams is a much, much more popular composer than Gustava Santaolalla.

I think BM probably won Best Score because a) Santaolalla isn't American and B) it didn't win Best Picture.

- Marc, who knew Williams was screwed when he saw Salma Hayek.

I'm sure many a man has wished that when seeing Selma Hayek. :|
