  1. I voted for The Matrix. There are enough moments for me in the Prequels that make it the better overall trilogy in my opinion.
  2. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is a beautiful score. The problem I have is at times it just doesn't feel like it's appropriate for an Indy film. I find it rather soft and sweet and a little too cancan at times. Again, a great score but I almost wish Williams would have saved it for another film and come up with something that had a bit more edge to it.
  3. I can certainly picture him writing something like that.
  4. Lolita Kubrick does a great job of pulling you into a plot that is a bit disturbing. I found myself soaking up everything else that was going on between the fantastic performances and wonderful use of the camera. I have always been a James Mason fan and what can you say about Sellers playing those various parts. Really enjoyed the use of different styles of music throughout showing a nice blend of versatility, especially the Shelly Winters cha cha. I had never even heard of Nelson Riddle before tonight.
  5. The poor guy bares his soul and you equate him with the actions of a dog. My dear man, do your lows have no boundaries? 8O
  6. Any reason to leave ROTJ out of the countdown Here's 50 reasons. Neil I had never read that before... hilarious stuff there.
  7. I too like the little bit I heard. Hope springs eternal.
  8. I used to play tenor sax a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.
  9. This is indeed, quite true. My vote went to Far and Away simply because it's not nearly as boring as Dances With Wolves.
  10. I thought Universal revoked your plane privileges due to lewd conduct?
  11. How many seats did you have to reserve on the flight so you could fit?
  12. Harvey Keitel's "line" in the garage is one of the best ever.
  13. It wasn't bad at all. One of the few movies I can actually tolerate Ben Affleck in.
  14. Loved the 20's sounding stuff and hope we get a decent amount. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else he comes up with.
  15. I should have emphasized the word mildly. Maybe it was just me, but I found Nicole Kidman hard to look at in this. There was something very strange about her. She was extremely thin for one thing and looked very pale throughout the entire film. Gotta love Sydney Pollack becoming quite the character actor these days. Sydney Pollack was THE best thing in Eyes Wide Shut. He was good, but the orgy sequence still prevails as the best thing about the film.

  17. I t has certainly stuck with me and I saw it a few months ago. That last scene is just creepy.

  19. Assuming I have children, I will probably go with IV, then I-III, then V and VI.
  20. The Interpreter Found this to be mildly entertaining at best.
  21. I saw a portion of this when it came out in '78. I'm not sure why I didn't see the whole thing, but I think that was for the best. The only thing I can truly recall is Bea Arthur in the hut and I distinctly remember asking my mom, what's Maude doing in Star Wars? LOL
