Kamen = Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves!
Well, it better be, else I'm gonna kick someone's ass!
I really hope so. I have wanted it for years.

Currently sitting at 67% on RT, I'm beginning to think this might just be another thowaway superhero diversion along the lines of The Avengers. Enjoyable but forgettable. Hope I'm wrong.
The number of reviews lamenting the distinct lack of lightness is growing steadily. If the sending of a message turns out to be the best thing to come out of Snyder's vision then the film is still well worthwhile. Superman fans do NOT want Batman influences!
Correct. I grew up on DC characters. Love Superman and Batman. I want Superman (the character) and any films to be drastically different from Batman. While I enjoyed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (didn't like the third at all), I can't imagine wanting a Superman film even remotely similar to those.
By the way, I find the Nolan Batman films to be VERY overrated. I think people hype them simply for their claim to creating Batman in a "real" world.
I hope Man of Steel is good. I've loved this character for as long as I can remember. I like the fact that he used to be the impossible ideal of what people could only dream to achieve (and I'm not talking about his powers). He represented a hypothetical "best" version of us as human beings, yet he was an alien.
I'm not sure I want a Superman I can relate to. In my mind, that kind of defeats the purpose of the character.
Then again, I'm sure most would consider me more than a little naive and antiquated in my view. ![]()

Any time I see a composer post a picture of their iTunes library, I think about all the other goodies it probably contains.
