  1. This is true, but as far as I can tell, the LLLR is mostly accurate to what is in the film. This makes it as close to definitive as we can currently obtain and I’m very happy with it.
  2. The Main Title, The Ambush and Truth Needs a Soldier are certainly different to the OST, and I think the Intrada release had the wrong takes for some of the film versions. It's a loooong score, and the synth / sakuhachi cues are not my favorites, but Woodroom / Finale is an absolute highlight. This score can certainly get the adrenaline pumping.
  3. I picked up the La-La Land Clear and Present Danger, and it seems to have improved audio from Intrada's release. I'm late to this upgrade, but it sounds great to my ears.
  4. My copy arrived, and it sounds fantastic. Improves on Intrada significantly. I suspect a better source has been found.
  5. No, I included Clear and Present Danger as an upgrade. Two Intrada upgrades in the same order.
  6. They are shipping early. Mine shipped yesterday, and the ETA is Saturday. I think it likely to be Friday.
  7. @Jay, it looks like your Gorky Park spreadsheet may warrant an update for this release.
  8. This is going to be an interesting upgrade from the Intrada release. Based on the information so far, Neil S. Bulk's note that this presentation allows the score to breath seems apt. Presentation, and probably mastering, edge me to upgrade. I might pick up the revised Clear and Present Danger while I'm at it, though the upgrades are relatively minor there. And .. ordered both.
  9. I'd LOVE to see Brainstorm released with original cues and the previous re-recording. The score is long overdue and deserving of such treatment.
  10. My question at this point is whether we'll ever get a physical CD of this deluxe edition release. Given that Solo's expantion is being released, what are the probabilities that this score will get the same?
  11. Still waiting for Strange New Worlds to be released, as that one has not been put out there. Some good stuff there. Back to Picard S3: I'm really loving the series so far, and there is some great fun music with a TON of nods to Horner and Goldsmith.
  12. I wish there were. The music for Strange New Worlds has been excellent.
  13. I'm revisiting this score today, and it is fantastic. David Arnold's approach to Bond is just sooo good. The perfect evolution of John Barry's style with a feel all of his own. The tension, the swagger, the fantastic themes, and amazing action scoring.
  14. I’m not surprised so much as impatient. This deserves a n exhaustive release.
  15. Star Trek TMP has to be my favorite, but there are so many great releases that are up there from La-La Land. Field of Dreams, Tomorrow Never Dies, Spider-Man and Grinch are up there.
  16. Lots of negotiation needs to take place on this. One negotiation would be that for LLLR to release it expanded and on CD, it would not be available as an individual track via them for Download. It would bypass that particular royalty issue and provide more income for licensors involved.
  17. I would hope in this case that including the song in the score would served to cement "You Know My Name" in it's rightful place in the James Bond musical canon.
  18. Got shipping label. It’ll probably be sent tomorrow, and I’ll likely get it either Saturday or Monday.
  19. We’ll I got it today in the mail. Im curious to know whether it is the same mix as the movie for the two songs. They sound great regardless.
  20. I had to do 2 separate orders (due to different payment methods) for each of my CDs: - Tomorrow Never Dies - Spider-Man TND has shipped, but Spider-Man has not budged just yet. I expect there are a lot of orders they are working on.
