  1. Ha I didn't set it to 100, the website reverted it to 100 for some reason and I can't change it.
  2. That'd be around the same time the SE soundtracks were released for the OT (20 years after ANH?). Hopefully they stick to that timeframe.
  3. I know it will never happen... but my patience is wearing thin!!
  4. Okay, yes, before you call me an idiot for making a petition, be aware that I already know that. Anyway, I remember what Shawn Murphy said about complete scores for the prequels, that if there's enough outcry for them, maybe Lucasfilm would consider it. Well, I though, perhaps a petition could help boost that outcry. I see petitions for crap all the time on Facebook, and they seem to be doing well. So, I though, why not? Maybe it could gain some degree of popularity with JW fans, and maybe it would show Lucasfilm that people do in fact want more music. So if you have the time, please consider signing the petition below, and don't forget to spread the word! That is, unless, you hate John Williams. https://www.change.org/p/lucasfilm-release-complete-soundtracks-for-star-wars-episodes-2-3
  5. I didn't edit it at all, I let it play most of the way through. I'm assuming the music would have ended when it ends in the film, but I let it play through a little longer, since it matched up quite well.
  6. That last one is actually my upload. I started the music exactly when Williams' music begins in the film, so I'm assuming it's the correct timing. Although, obviously, I wasn't involved production of the film, so I'm not 100% sure exactly when the temp music began and ended. But surprisingly, it does fit extremely well.
  7. I heard that George often times liked to edit the scene to the music itself, letting the music control the mood/pacing of a scene.
  8. Just for fun I put some of Giacchino's music in a scene from ROTS. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4TAY1QZsUSYTTdtaWM1YkloeU0
  9. Keep in mind that Rebels and TCW use a lot of temp scoring. References to themes by JW and other composers probably aren't done as a homage, the producers probably told him to put them in there. I think I remember hearing in an interview a long time ago that every scene in TCW was temp tracked. Not sure how much they temp tracked Rebels, but I'm sure it's quite a bit.
  10. I forgot to put that option in, and I appear to not be able to edit the answers. EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out!
  11. I don't think this has been voted on yet. I was just curious what everyone here thought.
  12. Fred Steiner actually 'composed' that piece in ROTJ. That was confirmed, right? I think John Morgan confirmed that. The Death Star motif was just a coincidence (more-than-likely) because it was just a re-recording of "Tie Fighter Attack".
  13. Approaching the Death Star / Tatooine Rendezvous ^This was a rather confusing one. I didn't realize about half of the opening scene appears to have been cut (not just the lightsaber construction scene). I did a lot of guessing, so I know that my arrangement of the scenes may not be 100% accurate.
  14. Ah yes that piece! I'm not familiar with this particular thread and I didn't read the main post so I was confused!
  15. Silly, I don't recall ever saying it does. EDIT: Nevermind!
  16. Get Em' R2 / The Elevator Scene (Restored to film) Attack of the Clones Original Finale @Will
  17. As someone who has put a ton of effort into hoaxes before, I'm inclined to believe this is fake. With the right person, and the right material, this could have been done easily by a fan. (Not to mention that cover looks atrocious)
  18. The music from the Red Carpet video isn't an alternate/unused version, it appears to be a demo of the 2nd trailer music, before any orchestration took place.
  19. I hope they stick to the signature style of music. Hopefully it's not some generic all-synth shit TV score like most shows have today. They better get some of the original composers.
  20. Since Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing the Han Solo film, I'm placing my bets on Mark Mothersbaugh being the composer. I am not familiar with his work, but he appears to have scored every one of the directors' movies and TV shows.
  21. I think it was a good call. Desplat doesn't seem to be very good with action music, which is what Star Wars mostly consists of. Very happy with this news!
  22. Yeah I was wondering about that too. Should we PM you with out ratings?
  23. Going through AOTC I think it has the most synth out of the Star Wars films... mostly a lot of synth choir, some of which is used a few different times, such as this insert here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4TAY1QZsUSYYzZzdUUteDRNcW8/view
