  1. I suspect Mike would want the wording of the petition a bit more polished and tightened, but it would be really amazing to get his support on this either way. Now who wants to sign a petition to get an official John Williams Funko Pop made?
  2. I don’t know. Maybe they don’t like petitions. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I have lots of karma, but I’m not subscribed to their subreddit, so that could be it.
  3. Well the mods took down my post in the main Star Wars sub. I’ve shared the link to r/saltierthancrait now, but I’m not optimistic any of them will sign since they’ll probably be pretty cynical about our chances of success. I’d guess we’ve got as many signatures as we’re gonna get out of Reddit.
  4. I shared it to r/StarWars, r/soundtracks, and r/johnwilliams
  5. For reference this is the exact same image I uploaded above just with no banner added. I also have a slightly modified version of my cover from last year without the banner.
  6. The deluxe banner tricks the eye a bit, but the logos are centered to the whole image. I guess there's an argument to be made for logos to be centered in respect to the part of the image without the side banner.
  7. If anything, LALD is the one you should have debated not getting, since we had a mostly complete version of that score already.
  8. Well whatever, just show me what to sign and I’ll sign it!
  9. Might as well throw any other post-2005 scores John did for Disney in the petition too.
  10. I guess it shouldn’t surprise me, but I never realized it was so hard to get John Williams’ John Hancock.
  11. I agree with you. When we first see Peter, it's in the drab, modern world of the United States which seems to represent adulthood and the drudgery of everyday life. He then takes his first flight of the film, appropriately via a PanAm jet, to London, here a somewhat modern, but also old-fashioned world between worlds. With the help of his oldest friend Tinker Bell, he makes his second flight, this time to Neverland, a world of paradox and color that represents the fleeting nature of dreams, happiness and childhood itself. At the end of the film, Peter is finally able to fly on his own again and when he returns to London, he is no longer oblivious to its magic because he has bridged the worlds of childhood and adulthood, successfully incorporating the best traits of both Peter Pan and Peter Banning into one fully-actualized family man, who I would argue belongs in London more than anywhere else.
  12. Yeah Star Wars is played somewhat more straight, but TLJ and TROS aren’t that much more serious or “intense” than what Marvel is putting out. As far as I’m concerned, they’re cut from the same cloth and share all of the same weaknesses.
  13. Throw the logo on a colorful background not hire some terrible cartoonist.
  14. I agree. The JP box had amazing art.
  15. The first comment in the screenshot immediately calls out Varese for their weak artwork.
  16. Really? I thought 2 was easily the weakest film of the 3. One of my favorite scores of all time though.
  17. Not crazy about any of the 3 DE covers, but thrilled to finally have all the music!
