  1. Interesting that Eddie Redmayne's face is different/missing layers of photoshop!
  2. Looks like Michael ruined my cd booklet with his signature...
  3. I'm really worried now. I live in Australia and it's taking forever to get my copy amd now someone on FSM has said even though they ordered a signed copy they didn't receive one. I was order 72 but my shipment label says 216 Does anyone elses label match up? will I get a signed copy like varese had promised? arggh!
  4. John Williams is no mere man, he is a god you blasphemous bastard!
  5. No it makes Alexandre Desplat the new Michael Giacchino.
  6. Revolutionary Road is singable in some way. I can't get it out of my head now!
  7. I was waiting all day for a notice but zip all has happened. I should expect the notice will come over the next few days.
  8. Courtyard Apocalypse and The Grey Lady are my favorites. There's some moments of harmony in the Grey Lady cue when she remarks that Harry shares similarities to Voldemort that are nice to hear.
  9. I love Cuaron's Prisoner of Azkaban and would have liked to see what he would have done with the rest of the series plus JW, of course. However I did like the direction of Goblet of Fire. Yates just sucks the magic out of everything.
  10. The Arcade theme is catchy. The suites for supes and Zod are nice.
  11. I still have the big 12" t-rex from JP. It's the best one to get and one they probably should have remade for this film.
  12. Titus Clipper reminds me of John Barry's Out of Africa Theme. I love the cue Giacchino wrote for JA but I was hoping it would be used or explored further. I found out about the signed copies here a few days ago and in one solitary facebook post. It wasn't advertised anywhere which is strange. I bought it immediately thinking it would sell out as others did on the first day. Strange it didn't get any further marketing for the autographed edition...
  13. Maybe I was too harsh. It just seems there's so much great music it's a shame not to hear all of it.
  14. It's a real ripoff. I severely wish the complete recordings become a reality.
  15. Just got a listen of the score. I was surprised and thankful that Shore pulled the thread tight on all the themes and had a nice segway into the Rings scores towards the end. What in the hell is a brief statement of the Fellowship doing there at the end? I was pleased to hear natures reclamation reprised as well as another working of the eagle rescue that wasn't released in the first film's soundtrack. Some nice reprisals of Gandalf's themes although I would have liked more exploration of the 'B' phrase. It could just be me but it seems just like the last two scores there's a frightful battle of brass going on and it doesn't seem to sound as clean as the battle music for Rings. Bilbo's material returns into a trilogy of scores that bear his name. To me poor Bilbo is always sidelined in the adaptations... I haven't seen the film(s) yet as there is bound to be more material. I don't know how they keep getting away with calling it a 'special edition' soundtrack.
  16. It's not clear to me. bummer. It might have been clearer for me considering I had listened to that cue the day before. It's so distinctive.
  17. It's very clearly a reworking of the sarlacc pit in the beginning but is still very nice material. My main constant for wanting to see this film is the music.
  18. And featured the iconic fanfare which wouldn't even be in the film itself. the fanfare did appear at the end.
  19. Sorry if my posts seem erratic but after my total breakdown from the Jurassic World trailer I was seriously expecting greatness. but this is the first trailer so I must refrain...
