  1. It was a stupid fix. Even by Doctor Who standards. WTF? shooting a golden aarow onto the back of the ship somehow adds more power? It's ridiculous. Apart from this err in writing, the episode was good fun. They needed gold to power the ship. The arrow act to added to the reserve and give them a boost. Was it the best execution? No, but it fit the episode and was better than the Doctor waving his sonic around. The ship needed gold, right, by how did piercing the side of the ship with the arrow transfer the gold to the ships reserves? I agree with the overuse of the sonic. The Power of Three was solved with the Screwdriver making another lame ending.
  2. I just want to get something from him in some way before we lose him
  3. That man's just a crazy old wizard. Btw, did owen get that mixed up?
  4. I'm not freaked over it, I just didn't think it was good.

  6. Thanks for your help Thor, I'll send something off next week at the earliest!
  7. I've read he uses the same agency as Williams. Has anyone successfully contacted him and or received something signed? I'm planning on hitting all my favorite living composers at once by sending letters.
  8. I live in Australia will this prove tricky and expensive?
  9. I was asking for that one and I gave it to you freely.
  10. Yes that is the part, sounds delicious. I can't describe it but I just love that part so much. It's similar to this moment here around 1:12 after the sinewy string stuff 3M6 Going to Utapau: http://youtu.be/meTY7hMzpZk
  11. Ah I suck at spotting instruments, thanks Sharky I should have been more specific at the part directly at 4:35 are these still the same instruments?
  12. Does anyone else love these types of passages concerning horns? 4:32 - 4:46 Star Wars Episode III Soundtrack - Palpatine's Teâ¦: http://youtu.be/nRaiLY23gU8
  13. It wouldn't be called Inception anymore but it would be a bloody good score!
  14. Robot of Sherwood was great all except the arrow plot fix at the end. Loved the dungeon scene!
  15. The Terminal was my listening experience today. Lovely, lovely score. Main complaint is that Viktor's krakhozia or whatever it's called is overused. The fountain scene is the best ever!
  16. This is what I meant in a brain fizzle I reversed the wording. Just to be positive: The Two Towers>Inception. Hans stole it is what I'm trying to say!
  17. 301. John Williams actually scored every single Potter film. No one has heard it and anyone who speaks of it is court marshaled along with every Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise who violated direct orders and the ears of people who supposedly have heard it. 306. He wears his trademark turtleneck to bed. He even has a swimsuit turtleneck for special occasions.
  18. What's the best way to receive anything at all from Williams?
  19. Wait, I'm just going to start a thread of the most overrated films of all time, beginning with Citizen Kane... I should say within reason.
  20. It might as well be. I've read posts here more deserving of bans but I think we're all reasonable people here.
  21. Guardians of the Galaxy. I liked the film but felt tired of the marvel universe. I've convinced myself I'm never going to see another superhero/comic book film again. Ant-Man and a ream of other films from both DC and Marvel just pushed me over the edge. There was a time when these films were special gems, now it's origin this, sequel/reboot that...
  22. Can anyone explain the released pic of Gandalf and Thranduil in Dale, but Gandalf has his staff that was earlier destroyed by Sauron?
  23. For that scene to work they'd need to cut out the chase altogether or partway or I don't know...
