  4. @TownerFan, I was able to tune in live to just the first half or so, but I really loved it!! It was clear that the musicians enjoyed themselves and were genuinely happy to be reunited for the discussion. I will hopefully be able to finish watching the remainder today.
  5. No, I've never seen anything above the 320x180. I've gone ahead and uploaded this version to YouTube:
  6. I have the original MOV file that was hosted on that starwars.com site. Unfortunately, it was available only at 320x180 with a frame rate of 10FPS, with significant visual and aural compression artifacts. Doing a bit of digging, you can find the MOV file on archive.org: https://web.archive.org/web/20060110163323if_/http://starwars.apple.com:80/ep2/dvd/ep2_music_m320.mov Copy/paste that text into a browser window. You may get the following error message depending on the browser you're using: "No video with supported format and MIME type found." Don't worry. In your browser, go to "File", "Save Page as" (or similar function) and you should be able to save the MOV file to your computer. BTW, this thread reminds me that I need to rent a U-matic playback unit to transfer this goodie I picked up on eBay a while back... It's running time is longer than the "Movie Music" segment available at starwars.com, so I'm curious to know what this featurette entails.
  7. This appears to be sourced from a VHS tape or other analog source. The same featurette was also available on starwars.com back at the time of the film’s release and on a DVD-ROM of some sort as well, as I recall. While the Episodes I and III music featurettes are still available at starwars.com, the Episode II one is not.
  8. FYI, a slightly higher-quality version of almost 17 minutes of the documentary is still available via the BBC Archive site: https://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/john-williams-scoring-empire-1980/zfxvnrd
  9. And the end credits were not shown, so the end credit music was not performed.
  10. NEW SCORE AVAILABLE: Netflix Bridgerton (Kris Bowers) [3 cues, 05:11] Also, belated thanks to @Imperivm for his mention of the additional Disney films listed on the FYC site.
  11. Couldn’t agree more with your wonderful mini-review, @Eplicon!! The montages were very well done IMO, especially the one featuring pictures/videos of Williams underscored by the Superman March (even had a snippet of Williams “conducting” the final downbeat with footage from the TROS or TFA sessions, as I recall). And darn it, my wife and I were in row E, seats 10 and 12, just a little bit behind you. Had I known… Absolutely agree!! My wife even commented on great it was.
  12. FYI, the pre-concert interview session with Williams that’s happening before tonight’s concert (Jurassic Park LTP) will be available on the Kennedy Center site at some point apparently.
  13. Totally agree!!! It was absolutely stunning!! I think it was the Army Bugle Corps actually(?). And the theme from Jurassic Park was a spot-on performance!! No horn flubs that I heard.
  14. “Nedry’s Jeep here! I got Nedry’s Jeep here!! See, no one cares…”
  15. Cannot wait!!! Gonna be a long night for me and my wife but SOOOO worth it.
  16. Oh, wonderful!! And Granity Studios is specifically listed in the acknowledgments below the program, so…
  17. For anyone interested, I quickly created this Spotify playlist based on the program. Not perfect nor complete (Dear Basketball), but it’ll do for now…
  18. The concert program is now listed on the Kennedy Center site: https://www.kennedy-center.org/nso/home/2021-2022/john-williams-at-ninety/program
