  1. When these films end, presumably with Grindelwald's fall in 1945, a 19-year-old Voldemort will have just begun to create his first Horcruxes and speak nasty business with some old school lackies, unless JK decides to retcon it.
  2. It's the horrendous way in which it is edited, looped and any tempo or flow completely disregarded that's the problem! In CoS even the most hodgepodge cue, the 5 minute dialogue in the chamber has atmosphere and structure. Reading the Diary gives absolutely no indication it's not one of the rerecorded cues á la Flying Pixies, Introducing Colin or Aragog.
  3. Yes, the Chamber theme is great and used quite a bit. The reason I don't really mind repurposing the Stone motif is that it really allows it to come into its own in-film with bombastic variations and new orchestration the best we had in PS was Gringotts, the mostly unused and unreleased Three Note Loop and it in counterpoint with one of Voldy's themes at the end. Now we also get Transformation Class, Meeting Tom Riddle and Entering the Chamber among many others.
  4. It's usual for deleted scenes as a bonus, not when reintegrated into the movie.
  5. Look forward to recreations coming in once the new set gets to Mordor.
  6. Yes, one who actively dislikes Williams' fame and tries to drown him out whenever possible. Ben Burtt.
  7. Have you heard March on the Jedi Temple? or Half a Ship? or the Battle of Kashyyyk? Titanic is hacked up all over but I don't think any edit has ever gotten as low.
  8. And its sequel Revenge of the Sith which possibly has the absolutely most repulsive lack of respect for music in its tracking that I ever heard?
  9. You guys ever seen this small indie flick called Phantom Menace? Which had every bit of horrendous editing released on album by someone who had no clue about the market and the fans?
  10. We just had an impromptu one, kinda, for the Oirish radio broadcast that premiered HP music. Well, it was mostly me and Bilbo, and occasionally Stu, so it wasn't exactly crowded.
  11. Thanks for providing illustration, I will probably not weep for any of these 3 if they are not on the set.
  12. Which Germany? It was never too big here, either, I never heard anyone even mention it, just vaguely recognising the title.
  13. Those must've been radio compression issues, it sounds fine on the leak. In Christmas, the bells find their tempo finally by the B phase and blend in perfectly by C and D, but in the A they're all over the place. Either they were rushing or the strings lagged behind.
  14. I'm very much looking forward to hearing the whole thing. Is the (awesome as hell) CoS christmas cue "flubbed"? Seems like the sleighbells were early on their cue when the main motif returns at the end.
  15. Indeed. Sad I wasn't quick enough to record it! I hear the next one will be Williams' sketch for Jay's "A".
  16. Bilbo, will you try to win one? Since this is gonna be music, I'll post possible recordings to the other thread.
  17. I'll be on the Discord to jump if @Bilbo says it's starting, ready to record - closing bleeping tabs this time.
