  1. In the future, movies will have smell, and they'll hire talented composers to write masterpiece smell tracks, akin to symphonies for the nose. Can't smell well? You'll wish you were blind instead, with the sheer beauty coming out of these scented holes.
  2. The worst part about King Kong (2005) is that it existed, but also the acting was pretty bad. The best character was Bruce Baxter, when he put up his room posters.
  3. That monkey looks like he's trying to help those gentlemen. I bet if TV had smells, we wouldn't ever watch this scene.
  4. I'll be the dude who says Happy Birth Night. All that party food can creep up on you, pleasant dreams, will you dream up yet another masterpiece for us
  5. I loved the adult film 1993 remake, King Dong: Lost on Adventure Island. Really underrated casting and screenplay.
  6. Mmm festering turd. You're starting to sound convincing. This really shows Lucas is indeed a better director than Jackass I mean Jackson. Star Wars > LoTR. SW prequels > really obviously better than anything The question now is who's better, old Lucas or new Lucas?
  7. I did a mass analysis of 2,000+ film critics to find those most similar to my tastes. Easy with computers. The strongest contender loves/dislikes all kinds of movies I love/dislike. Turns out he thinks King Kong (2005) is the most perfect movie made... Just goes to show how subjective it all is. I will only use critics if one day people require me to go to the theater and pick out a movie.
  8. OP: It's officially not Studio Ghibli then. Like the day Twilight Princess came out, I realized Zelda was over and done with. Even BoTW missed the true magic and mysticism of the prior series, although acceptable, usually 'acceptable' isn't enough to save or justify it.
  9. People have categorized this under many genres and names. I have never been able to hear anything except true Rock n Roll.
  10. I never noticed any greatness in the music until maybe I listen from beginning to end. I'll try that.
  11. I don't listen to many scores from beginning to end except for those with my favorite tracks already in them: I usually rate a score based on the tracks I find. But for full listening, not including video game scores, I'd probably go with Titanic! I realized it's a much better score from beginning to end, not really an individual track type of OST.
  12. I'm not a big fan of the Minority Report film. It feels empty of real meaning or emotion, sloppily executed, kind of silly and shallow. I remember enjoying War of the Worlds to a degree.
  13. He probably has it all written up here At least I know from experience I do.
  14. All three are the winners See OP. But they're not winners if they just post some random movie. Who would want their name next to a terrible movie that says 'Top 1 film nominated by'? The rules of this game were posted so crystal clear but people haven't grasped it: This a social experiment game; I want to see what will happen so I can adjust the rules to be better and better. But this forum doesn't like games or social expirements
  15. Maybe this game is too complex for some here: The likelihood of 3 people posting a movie in a row is very high if people want to win, which is the object of the game (to get their name on the official scoreboard.) Ie. did I post any of my favorite movies yet? No. I typed some that I like, that I think I can win with. If you only post movies that other people like, the list we'd come up with would be a loss for you as well.
  16. More like Mathis, mirite? I don't get it. The rules are written very simple.
  17. Could I help you understand? The winner of first place is the film 3 people decide to post in a row, tic tac toe. Afraid I can't settle just yet! Let's see where we go... someone else mentioned this favorite, probably won't work: The Departed (2006)
