I think REVENGE is like JEDI, one half of a great film, one half of a average film that overall works out as pretty good. It has some awful elements, but still nothing as bad as MENACE or that dastardly CLONES, surely one of the worst flicks I've ever seen. McGregor is very good, Christensen brings out some good even with no direction whatsoever, and the fun McDiarmid is having shines through the screen. I think that after the crash on Coruscant, it really drags itself up until Grievous dies and Order 66 is given, and then Lucas finally gives us some of the emotional weight he's been promising, although some of it is undermined by Burtt's terrible editing. However, like the previous two prequels, the film has the annoying habit of destroying a perfectly good scene with one terrible element (the best example "She's lost the will to live.") I like it a lot though and I can watch it regularly, something I can't say of the rest of the PT.
