Interesting viewpoint since my knowledge of the TV series is fairly limited. I know bits and pieces of seasons one and two fairly well but I've never seen one episode of the third season. Don't get me started on Next Gen onwards, that's just too much for me to register. That's about 24 seasons worth! I'll just stick with the movies for the time being.

I disagree about COS. It was the only Potter DVD I had for about 18 months, so I used to watch it a lot and found that it works quite well as a standalone film since it doesn't rely on the previous film too much. It's really an easy open and close story.

If Doyle's music is what constitute's "British", then "British" sucks.

Funny, I don't recall Doyle conducting any of the music...
