  1. Nope, there's no real difference between takes so I don't count that. And yes the three tracks are concert arrangements. And since we now know what the full cue of Halls contains, aside from the source music the boot is moot.
  2. Exactly. So, if what I noted about Halls is confirmed, the only music that is needed from the bootleg (for those interested) is the ballroom source music and the Tavern on the Green source music. Otherwise, the bootleg should not be needed at all.
  3. Correct. Also (Hotel Haunting aka Hard Work 1:29-2:17) or on the varese release 39-We Got One (Alternate) (1:29-End) is the film version whereas 14 - We Got One (128.8-End) is an alternate.
  4. That's part of We Got One (Alternate) (2:04) from the Varese release. Without any insider knowledge, it could be. The sound effects are so loud though it likely couldn't have been heard. Sure. 31:29-31:50 (from the film) or track 7 on the bootleg 4:28-End is not found on any other album. It's right when the Ghostbusters step out of the elevator on to the 12th floor. Then you have Halls from the Varese release which is 2:03 and includes the rest of the music both which is heard (:00-:22) dialed out (:22-:57) and then heard again in the final film (:57-End). In the film this is 32:18-34:17. In short, with the time difference between the varese track (2:03) and the 2019 Sony release (2:30) my guess is the new release may include the missing music found on the bootleg which is about 25 seconds.
  5. I finally had a chance to take a look at this. It seems like Mistake would have been the lead in cue to Protection Grid from the VS release. The music fits the scene as the protection grid shuts off perfectly. And I'm not saying that just because that track follows Judgment Day on the album either. And here's my analysis of all the albums, including one of the bootlegs. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13Owf1At4Abr5SlettoC_dVICWwkzEXsfHxak2aAv_RI As for the Halls track, there are 26 seconds on the bootleg that can't be found elsewhere and 31 seconds from the sample of the new release that would go between the bootleg music and the previous varese track. A small part of the previously unreleased section of the sample can be heard in the film but it appears they dialed out the rest of it.

  7. Same here and thanks to this tread I watched it last night. It was just as creepy as anticipated.
  8. Found it, track 1: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/trailer-tracks-best-hollywood-movie-preview-music-fantasy/1036587305
  9. Thank you for the information. I see you edited your post to include the original reference. That is perfect, thank you again.
  10. That would be me and thank you. Thanks for reposting that Falafel. I'll admit, when I originally did that list I couldn't find where Approaching the Enemy could be found (the asterisk is misplaced which I corrected) so I made my best guess based on the content of the film. As I do not have the new release yet, Jason does it state in the liner notes that Approaching the Enemy can be found after Omaha Beach?
  11. Speaking of the booklet for a moment, John Williams name immediately stuck out and not in a good way.
  12. Here's the result. These three are only found on the Intrada release, there are no comparable tracks on the Prometheus. Track 4 is essentially :00-1:04 of 4. Battle Preparations / Battle Of The Mounds (Part I) (05:59) on the Prometheus release. Track 6 has a reprise of the Riders of Doom prior to the rest of the track. That is exclusive to the Intrada release but the last section is comparable to 2. Orgy Fight (02:53) from the Prometheus release. This track is exclusive to the Prometheus release and there is nothing comparable on the Intrada release.
  13. Sure there is, I did my own version a while back for just this purpose. D1-01 - Prologue (Film Version) / Anvil of Crom (1:02-End) D1-02 - Riddle of Steel / Riders of Doom (:00-5:30) D1-03 - The Gift Of Fury (3:25) D1-04 - Column of Sadness / Wheel of Pain (4:09) D1-07 - Atlantean Sword (4:00) D1-09 - Theology / Civilization (:00-1:16) [Slow down by 40%] D1-09 - Theology / Civilization (1:16-End) [Speed up by 10%] D1-14 - The Wifeing (:00-2:13) D1-16 - The Search (2:55-End) D2-01 - The Orgy (2:11-End) D2-03 - Funeral Pyre (5:15) [Speed up 1:00-End by 15%] D2-04 - Battle Preparations / Battle Of The Mounds (Part I) (1:04-End) D2-08 - Orphans Of Doom / The Awakening (:00-1:09) [No Change] D2-08 - Orphans Of Doom / The Awakening (1:09-3:48) [Speed up by 17%] D2-08 - Orphans Of Doom / The Awakening (3:48-4:24) [Speed up by 30%] D2-08 - Orphans Of Doom / The Awakening (4:24-End) [Speed up by 13%] I changed the speed on some of the tracks in attempt to match the original release. If you don't want to speed up or slow down anything, just use the tracks noted with no changes.
  14. That's the version I grew up listening to on cassette, when I got the CD as an adult it had a different version. It was strange. Either way, I'm glad the mystery is solved. Thanks for the teamwork.
  15. In comparing it to other tracks, despite an album edit or two, it coincides with part of Belle Enter's Beast's World on the Legacy Collection. In short, it's superfluous.
  16. There were two versions of the original soundtrack release, one had an alternate version of West Wing as you see above. It is indeed genuine. Good call, updated.
  17. Wolf Attack is only the equivalent of 1/2 the track from the legacy collection called Journey to the Castle, hence the name. These are the two different versions I have of West Wing.
  18. Using the best sources from all releases, this would be the most complete list. Any corrections? L1T1 - Main Title - Prologue (2:27) L1T2 - Belle (5:06) L1T3 - Little Town (2:50) L1T4 - Journey to the Castle (4:54) L1T5 - Maurice Taken / Gaston Rejected (3:04) L1T6 - Belle Reprise (1:03) L1T7 - Belle Enters the Beast's World (5:59) L1T8 - Gaston (3:36) L1T9 - Gaston Reprise (2:01) L1T10 - Enchanted Objects (6:48) L1T11 - Be Our Guest (3:44) L1T12 - Be Our Guest - Playoff (:56) L1T13 - Escape from the West Wing / Wolf Attack (5:41) L1T14 - Coming Together (5:11) L1T15 - Something There (2:18) L2T1 - Human Again (4:53)* L2T2 - Tonight's the Night (1:01) L2T3 - Beauty and the Beast (2:42) L2T4 - Beast Lets Go (5:35) L2T5 - Mob Song (3:27) L2T6 - Battle in the Castle (2:27) L2T7 - Death of the Beast (4:38) L2T8 - Transformation (4:13) S18 - Beauty and the Beast - Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson (4:07) S19 - Death of the Beast (Original Early Version) (1:29)* Demos: L2T10 - Belle - For Linda Worthington (Demo) (4:45) L2T11 - Belle (Demo) (4:50) M2T6 - Gaston (Demo) (3:42) M2T8 - Gaston Reprise (Demo) (2:30) SE16/M2T9 - Be Our Guest (Demo) (3:28) M2T12 - Human Again (Demo) (9:13) L2T16 - Beauty and the Beast (Demo) (3:55) Bonus Tracks: M2T2 - Prologue (Final) (2:35) [Rename to “Prologue (Sans Narration)”] M2T5 - Wolf Attack (Unreleased Master) (2:42) [Rename to “Journey to the Castle (Alternate Section)”] M2T19 - Transformation #1 (Final) (1:36) [Rename to "Death of the Beast (Alternate)"] * = Only heard in the special edition of the film A = Original Soundtrack L1/L2 = 2 Disc Legacy Collection Release S = Special Edition Release M2 = Music Behind the Magic Release (Disc 2) I left off a track or two from the Music Behind the Magic release where part of the demo and the final version of the songs are heard. It also appears that West Wing on the Special Edition release is either a different take or has a few less microedits/overlapped sections than it's counterpart on the legacy collection. In my personal edit I separated two of the tracks because the cues didn't flow well together. L1T5 - Maurice Taken / Gaston Rejected (3:04) to Maurice Taken (1:07) Gaston Rejected (1:58) L1T14 - Coming Together (5:11) to After the Attack / Gaston's Plan (2:29) Coming Together (2:44) Although it is heard combined in the film it seems better separated out. The library music is also one of my favorite tracks so i don't want to hear Gaston's Plan every time.
  19. Unfortunately, yes. I did an edit with the special edition version and that brief snippet on the legacy collection release.
  20. There is an alternate opening that is only heard on the Music Behind the Magic set. For others that may be interested, I'm looking a bit more at the Legacy Collection some of the tracks appear to be of slightly lower quality than the previous releases. Something There (after the intro) Beauty and the Beast (Single) Gaston (Demo) Gaston Reprise (Demo) Be Our Guest (Demo) Human Again (Demo) I haven't listened to it yet as I am completing a final edit prior to doing so, but this is what I see from looking at the waveforms. Ultimately, it is what the ear hears that matters most.
  21. According to the liner notes from the 2012 Anniversary edition it states: In two sessions, one from September 28 to October 3, 1996, and another on November 28, 1996, they were to record twenty-four soundtrack titles in the Powerplay Studio in the Swiss town of Maur. The bootleg has 25 tracks, so your guess is as good as mine on the remaining track. When I compared the tracks that matched the versions on the commercial releases, aside from some mastering, the waveforms and sound were identical. Although I cannot guarantee it, it seems that most of the other cues were recorded during the same sessions and may be genuine. But who knows for sure aside from the person that leaked them.
  22. In going back to my original list and removing the cues by James Horner, this is what I have for all of the I Salonisti and Gaelic Storm tracks. They are listed once for each time they are heard in the film, in the order they are heard. Without having the cue sheet there are likely a few I have missed, but this is what I have identified. Valse Septembre - I Salonisti (3:43) Marguerite Waltz - I Salonisti (2:34) Wedding Dance - I Salonisti (2:30) Wedding Dance - I Salonisti (2:30) Marguerite Waltz - I Salonisti (2:34) Poet and Peasant - I Salonisti (6:48) Oh, You Beautiful Doll - I Salonisti (2:12) Blue Danube - I Salonisti (6:55) Song Without Words - I Salonisti (2:37) Estudiantina - I Salonisti (3:11) Valse Septembre - I Salonisti (3:43) Blarney Pilgrims - Gaelic Storm (2:11) John Ryan’s Polka - Gaelic Storm (2:53) Kesh Jig - Gaelic Storm (1:59) Drowsy Maggie Dance - Gaelic Storm (1:22) Vision of Salome - I Salonisti (2:42) Méditation de Thaïs - I Salonisti (4:25) Titsy Bitsy Girl - I Salonisti (1:35) Alexander’s Ragtime Band - I Salonisti (2:28) Wedding Dance - I Salonisti (2:30) Oh, You Beautiful Doll - I Salonisti (2:12) Sphinx - I Salonisti (3:48) Barcarole - I Salonisti (3:31) Marguerite Waltz - I Salonisti (2:34) Orpheus - I Salonisti (8:40) Estudiantina - I Salonisti (3:11) Blue Danube - I Salonisti (6:55) Valse Septembre - I Salonisti (3:43) Nearer My God to Thee (Extended Version) - I Salonisti (3:14)
  23. Yes, it's 2 1/2 miles down from :40 - 1:24. There's an overlay that starts at 1:13 in that clip I haven't identified yet.
