  1. Ordered my copies of 2 and 3 a couple of hours ago. I'm not sure if there's any more holy grails left now Not excited about the covers of the Mondo releases but congrats to Universal for making a website for the releases. It reminds me of the Concord Indiana Jones boxset.
  2. Ordered BTTF3. I was in two frames of mind though about who to order this through as Intrada is not only selling Pt2 but Pt3 as well. However, they state they're not shipping Pt3 until November.
  3. Ordered both just now. However, Intrada have all 3 scores available with Pt 1 being a single disc release and Pt 3 not shipping until November
  4. Is there anyone here who knows the order for the full score to Kingdom of Heaven at all?
  5. Just for completeness regarding the additional music for "Settling With Steven" it can be found on Vol 2, Track 16 "The Land Race (complete final version)" at 8:27-9:27 min marks. It can also be found in the other "Land Race" track on Vol 2 as well however the timings would be different due to it being a shorter track. P.S. After adding the extra music from "The Land Race (complete final version)" with "Settling With Steven" I decided to include Track 29 (Joseph and Shannon) making it into a single track. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a clean edit between the Vol 2 insert and "Joseph and Shannon" so I settled with a slightly longer version of the Vol 2 insert (at about 1 min 13 secs, instead of 1 min) and trimmed "Joseph and Shannon" to match. It worked so much better that way.
  6. Ease up with the attitude FFS. It was just a question. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Williams wrote the opening titles in the same key as Alfred Newman did and the Fox fanfare has been associated with the movies ever since. It's likely the film will open with the Lucasfilm logo, then segue to the opening titles. If the teaser and Marvel Studios' output are any indication, the Disney logo won't appear on the film at all. The copyright will likely read "© 2015 Lucasfilm Ltd", followed by the byline 'Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' at the end. People won't complain about the lack of the Newman fanfare if they enjoy the movie overall. Thank you for your considered response.
  7. Does anyone know if there's been any word on whether Disney has approached Fox to use the Fox fanfare at all? Every time I hear Alfred Newman's now famous fanfare I always think about the opening Star Wars main title theme so I'm wondering if Disney has paid Fox for its use, just like any other product placement agreement or if there is some other agreement in place that would see the Fox fanfare included into the new movie.
  8. Why would there be a difference? Because according to the Complete Cue List here.... http://www.jwfan.com/?p=2899 and, according to your own post here... http://www.jwfan.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5544&p=568666 .....the first 34-37 seconds of the Vol 2 track with the OST version need to be edited together so I'm wondering why you need to replace the entire Vol 2 track with the OST track? Is it because of a difference in sound quality? Am I missing something that you and others have heard in the OST track that NOT in the V2 version? I'm just trying to understand why it's been written to replace most of the V2 track with the OST.
  9. Okay, I'm reaching back into history with this one as I've been meaning to do it for years but I'm trying to edit this one together in 320kbps because the one I have is only 128kbps. Anyway I'm trying to work out what the difference is between the OST version of The Big Match (Track 9) and the Vol 2 version (Track 10), apart from the obvious extra 36 seconds at the start of the Vol 2 version. Looking at them together in Audacity they appear near identical. Are there any "experts" out there who can answer this for me? Cheers.
  10. Yeah, the jeep hitting something on the tarmac and bouncing into a hangar which is hilarious because Midway Island NEVER had hangars!
  11. Happy birthday, Mr Goldsmith, whereever you are. Always remembered. And happy birthday to Laura Dern who was born on 10 Feb 1967 as well.
  12. You mean they're making a sequel??? The first one wasn't that Amazing to begin with. I'll stick with Tobey Maquire. At least it had MJ and a more believeable Aunt May. And J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson rocked.
  13. SOLD......FOR $0.00. I'll pm you my address. Now you can afford to get this new CD with those extra 12 minutes.
  14. OMG, this is soooo long overdue. I hope there are copies available in January because I am moving house and I can't get it when it's released. But...... oooohhh my poor wallet...... Conan The Barbarian, Die Hard With A Vengeance, Home Alone 2 and several others.
  15. Nope. I have to agree with Stefan. Mako's narration should have been Track 1. In saying that I'm just glad they have included it at all. Am so looking forward to this.
  16. I just got notified today mine is shipped but why has it taken so long when it was released on the 5th? Anyway, it's on its way and now that it's sold out I'll sell mine for $100 if anyone is interested. lol. Nah. just kidding.
  17. I was just doing some re-editing of some TOD tracks from the Concord disc and while listening Slave Children's Crusade I heard for the first time a noticable change in quality in the last second of it. I slipped in the old Polydor release of TOD and listened to the same track and it's there as well. It sounds like the track was originally meant to be longer, going into "Short Round helps". Have I only just noticed something everyone else knows?
  18. Less than 450 of DH2. My guess is it won't last the end of the month.
  19. I caved in and ordered it despite the high international shipping. I didn't want to miss out on this one like I did with Die Hard. Just waiting for Die Hard With A Vengeance now.
  20. As much as I want this score the shipping costs have really turned me off. Seriously!!!! $10 to post a friggin CD?
