BLUMENKOHL 1,068
http://www.universalpicturesawards.com/Interesting...they've been out a while, but I haven't seen much discussion of it...The surprising bit is the melodies...don't quite fall into typical Zimmer fare. I actually think he pressed some different keys this time while coming up with the theme.
Morlock 11
Heard it a few weeks ago. No idea. I couldn't imagine how the film would be scored before, and these clips are not helping. Todd McCarthy noted that it added extra zing to the proceedings.
Williamsfan301 11
I didn't know JW's score for Nixon was a replacement score.
Luke Skywalker 1,796
the main rythm beat sounds like 'to rouge city'And also like Denis steals the embryo or the cue from JFK.in other words Zim cannot beat the turbulent years.PS: I thought zimmer did not allow to his scores to be sent for nominations? Morlock 11
Brief clips can be found on youtube. An 88 minute long compilation of the interview (it was over 28 hours long) recently came out on DVD, along with David Frost talking about the interview, as well as Peter Morgan's play and screenplay. Koray Savas 2,251
I'm listening to it as well. I don't know what to make of it just yet. I need to see the film.
Taikomochi 1,136
Strange that it would mention the score for TDK even though they'd been denied. Is that unreleased music playing? It could be from Begins, but it seems unlikely to me they'd reuse themes. Just me, though.EDIT: No, that's unreleased. There's a part that sounds like a different mix of a part from "A Dark Knight". TownerFan 4,990
Benjamin Button sounds beautiful. Desplat is putting a serious bet for the Academy Award, imho.
