John Williams in 2010 documentary MUSIC

I came across a documentary simply called MUSIC. Director Andrew Zuckerman has interviewed eminent musicians, composers, and producers from various musical genre. One of many interviewees in this documentary is our John Williams. Fittingly he has also the last words in the end of it.

Besides John Williams you can see and hear Danny Elfman, Philip Glass, Burt Bacharach, Herbie Hancock, ... and several musicians from rock, pop, hip-hop, classical, country, jazz,...etc.

It's a quote by Rachmaninov – I'm imagining JW actually said so, but they cut it out.

The video came originally and exclusively with the book of the same name. 

Williams was one the featured artists photographed and interviewed by Andrew Zuckerman.

JW has used this quote many, many times in recent years, seemingly more as he has gotten older, and usually name checks Rachmaninov.
