Good; they took it at a pretty fast tempo and they used the choir right away; then it segwayed into the Star Wars end credits (I think); they did the main theme and the finale from that cue. Pretty cool.

A poor performance, I thought, especially the first half. Could've just been the mic positions and my crappy TV's audio, though.  :?

no, you're right, the brass section, was early every time.

but that happens when you have two different groups trying to sync up.

Does anyone know if this will be aired again soon?

It's being repeated throughout the day on PBS-HD, if you are able receive your local PBS station's digital signal.

They usually play something Williams, don't they? Especially new Star Wars, it's such a big deal. I remember them doing The Patriot the year it came out, but of course there's an obvious connection between that and July 4th. :)

No, I know. It just went from traditional patriotic selections to Battle of the Heroes and intense shrieking choir. Kind of a weird mood for the occasion. But then the main theme kicked in and everything was fine. :)
