artyjeffrey 20 Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 Okay everyone, I need your help on this one.I've had this friend for years who's a bit of a "Big Fish," a one-upper, who's always trying to top whatever I'm saying/doing (we all know one). Anyways, he grew up in the Chicago area, and he said that John Williams' wife was involved with his high school band (!) and (of course) my friend was a member of the band. He related his story about how once they were heading for a special concert and John Williams was riding in the back of the school bus with them. Oh boy.So, he's about 4 years younger than me, which means he would've been in High School in the Chicago area in the late '80s/early '90s.Does anyone have any info that could disprove this guy? Willams and Barabra met in LA as kids, and they had a band were they palyed together.After Ruick ended her first marriage, they pobablymet again and ended up together.Ruick could be seen in the film version of Carousel (were Williams worked as one of the orchestrators).
