  1. Where are the floating photoshopped heads and the roman numeral behind the brand? How am I supposed to know who is in this movie at all?
  2. Wilson is an outstanding conductor, and he really does a magnificent work with film music and musicals. Also, is the only conductor I know who really knows how to wear his full evening dress. A sartorial delight!
  3. The film credits stated clearly that orchestrations were by John Williams and William Ross. No wonder! With all that re-writing and long and short versions, anyone could use a bit of help. Really nice photos. I cannot wait for more footage from the sessions in the blu-ray.
  4. When Morricone was announced as the winner, I felt dissapointed. I knew he would win, but I still retained some hope. Yet, after watching Morricone walking to the stage and giving a gentlemanly acceptance speech, and mentioning Williams, I felt relieved. It's not like Ludovic Bource winning over Williams just for the film's popularity back in 2011. Morricone is an obviously deserving composer.
  5. I don't feel that bad for Morricone winning, after that respectful speech.
  6. I'm positive the deleted scenes on blu-ray will contain the music written for them. I'm very intrigued about the unused stuff.
  7. And Abrams explaining one more time that Williams is like "this jazzman" that calls him baby, and the music from the gods.
  8. I wonder if some of the supposedly extensive unused material for The Force Awakens will be adapted for Episode VIII score.
  9. I could contact them by phone two and a half hours after they started to go for sale. It was almost too late!
  10. I'm looking forward to this. I hope is lengthier than what we usually get. Although for Star Wars we've got almost nothing, so I think my hopes will be fulfilled.
  11. I totally agree. Well, I've read White Tie still gets much love in Finland, is that correct?
  12. Walking canes should make a come back. I'd really love to sport one while walking nonchalantly. Or much better still, extensive use of white tie! And black tie, for the more informal ocassions.
  13. Thomas, this is just a breathtaking quality arrangement! Quite a challenge to play, really. I would say it's flawless. Thank you for permitting us to enjoy your work.
  14. I think they're too afraid people will not get is a Star Wars related movie, and placing the brand in any other place would lead to think is Episode VIII for the uninformed moviegoer. Milking the cow this fast is not easy to handle.
  15. That's a really nice summary of what little is known for this film. If well executed, I think it can be really good.
  16. I'm sure there's more unreleased stuff that we can imagine. I also happily noticed the cue titles, and I'm confident we'll eventually get the complete recordings on a future edition. I don't know when it will be done, but I'm pretty sure we'll get it.
  17. Daisy Ridley looked so thrilled there, I bet she really enjoyed that session. Williams seems to sympathise with Rey and the actress herself.
  18. I like how Disney is emphasising the score for this movie, and it very well deserves it too. As artguy said, I'm also hoping for a solid documentary on the music for the blu-ray release.
  19. Living in Santiago de Chile made this call quite painful too. A dollar a minute, to be precise. Congratulations on getting the tickets and the time off!
  20. I got first balcony, row A, 47 and 48. I'll stick to those then.
  21. I could finally buy the tickets through the phone, for Thursday, although I get a little feeling of regret for not choosing two spots at one of the tables. Are those seats any good?
  22. It's a disaster, really. Still no luck with the site or the phone.
