crocodile 8,013
Second one. The first one is close second and followed by the third. I don't really like the fifth one and not familiar with the fourth at all. Karol
Richard Penna 3,690
Ooh, good one. I haven't heard the 4th or 5th as that's when my interest in the films stopped. It's either the first or third for me. Newman's score is beautiful, emotional and with some nice action material. Powell stepped everything up a notch with his scores, but they're a different, busier type of scoring. I'm not sure which one I prefer.
Holko 9,526
I only saw the first 3, and only remember the first. The only cue I hae any memory of is its opening, "Opening Travel Music" (what a name!), which is pretty nice.
Loert 2,511
The 2nd one I think is the most successful. The 3rd one is excellent too, though.
Kasey Kockroach 2,344
What I love is that each of Powell's three has a different flavor (DotD being a dinosaur romp, Continental Drift featuring some swashbuckling pirate music), yet they're thematically consistent. Meltdown is probably the most well-rounded listening experience, but the other two are great expansions.

Kasey Kockroach 2,344
It's a shame David Newman's got the worst album, but what the hey, perhaps a Deluxe Edition will happen once Varese runs out of other scores to expand.
