soundwave 0 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Steve Sansweet announded today that Lucasfilm will be making another animated series that will take place after ROTJ in the same style as the current Clone Wars cartoon, which is quite good. I'm excited about this mainly: Luke, Han, Chewie, Leia...animated format! It will probably destroy most of the EU, but I don't really care cause the only EU I consider gospel is the Thrawn series. Wouldn't it be cool if Thrawn appeared in the series. So this makes 5 TV series from Lucasfilm: this, the Clone Wars, the sitcom animated show, the Galactic Adventurers show for pre-schoolers and the live-action show. It would have been nice, though, to do a live-action after ROTJ since they could probably live get Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher to come back, but never in a million years would they get Harrison Ford.Check it out
Datameister 2,586 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Oh good. That's exactly what we need - another upcoming Star Wars TV show.
Muad'Dib 2,059 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 And Johnny will score the pilot!Wait... Wrong SW series topic.
Kendal_Ozzel 36 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 I don't see anything to indicate that this isn't the Seth Green show.
Damien F 2,080 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 You see, I don't get this. Lucas seems content with sqeezing every last cent from the Star Wars franchise, yet he doesn't release the complete prequel scores. With this animated series, and the blu-rays on their way, hopefully they will be released as a tie-in

Ollie 1,375 Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 They've got someone who does a rather funny droll Harrison Ford impersonation on Robot Chicken so no need to worry about his voice.Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Billy Dee Williams have all lent their voices so that shouldn't be a problem.
Jacob 1 Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 If it's at least on the same level as the current Clone Wars series, it could be a lot of fun.The possibility of Mark Hamill back as Luke Skywalker makes me smile.
fommes 165 Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 Hopefully it's bookended by an old Luke Skywalker who recounts his adventures of old. He must have an eyepatch, obviously.
