Quintus 6,499 Posted October 30, 2012 Author Posted October 30, 2012 Decent, but highly unlikely to be representative of the movie itself.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I'm very excited about this one, it's a shame the original director didn't stay attached.
Quintus 6,499 Posted October 30, 2012 Author Posted October 30, 2012 I'll see it. Jackman is badass as Wolverine and the first one was a decent action flick.
Wojo 2,458 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Give Jackman a choice, he'll play the role the rest of his life.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 the poster is very japaneseI'll pass.you're too young to pass on anything, you should watch as many films as possible, both past, present and future.
Quintus 6,499 Posted October 30, 2012 Author Posted October 30, 2012 He'll only appreciate that when it's too late
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I'm very excited about this one, it's a shame the original director didn't stay attached. You an Aronofsky fan, or was there someone else originally attached before him?McQuarrie wrote the script, and Mangold is a decent enough director for me to look forward to this one. Never been a big fan of any of the X-Men films so this could be the best one for me yet.Beltrami is scoring too, so that could be great.
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Singer is directing the new X-Men: Days of the Future Past.Karol
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Interesting, maybe he can undo some of the damage.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 star wars episode 7, wow, wow. perhaps it can undo the damage that was the prequels.Singer is a very good choice for Days of Future Past or whatever
Quintus 6,499 Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 Sounds like mean old Wolverine gets to have the tour of his life by three ghosts. There hasn't been a decent Christmas movie for ages either.
A24 5,156 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Interesting, maybe he can undo some of the damage. It's going to be difficult but it's good news for the franchise. I loved the first X-men movie. Sequel was okay.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 For the first time in ages Kidman looks appealing....
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I heard Kidman is terrific in this.Karol
Quintus 6,499 Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 What is it with the attack of the try-hard movie posters lately?
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Kidman looks desirable again, in a dirty way!
A24 5,156 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 What is it with the attack of the try-hard movie posters lately?Well, they found out that posters like this no longer find themselves on the walls of teenagers.
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I'm sure there is a select group of teenagers who worship everything Denzel that might have that poster. But it's not a very good poster, it was an okay movie.
Wojo 2,458 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 It'd be more likely to find teenagers with posters of Bob or Ziggy Marley than Denzel. Or if they needed to see Ryan Reynolds, it would be as Van Wilder.
Brónach 1,330 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I'll pass.you're too young to pass on anything, you should watch as many films as possible, both past, present and future.Yeah, but it costs good money to go see them at the cinema
Quintus 6,499 Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 What is it with the attack of the try-hard movie posters lately?Well, they found out that posters like this no longer find themselves on the walls of teenagers.True. Anyway, this is arguably the best poster ever:
Wojo 2,458 Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I don't recognize that woman out of her mecha gear.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,388 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I watched the Hitchcock trailer again. Hopkins seems like he's going to be a hoot. But right now it's Helen Mirren who really captures attention. I'd give her an Oscar just on the basis of the trailer.
Wojo 2,458 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 The endless line of Transformers sequels and reboots indicates what Star Wars is about to become in only a few very short years.
Wojo 2,458 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Ooh, if Marky Mark's going to be in it, I hope he gets reunited with Estella Warren.
A24 5,156 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 It's the Groundhog Day of Science Fiction.Old news but James Cameron to adapt Showscan process for Avatar sequels. http://www.studiobri...avatar-sequels/(adapt = copy)
Brónach 1,330 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 It doesn't matter how he shoots his Avatar bore, he's lost it.
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 And we all know that once you lose it's gone forever!
A24 5,156 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 It doesn't matter how he shoots his Avatar bore, he's lost it.I agree.
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 aka Zombies running and falling over in giant piles.
BloodBoal 8,711 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 These are not zombies. These are flesh eaters.
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Then it should be called World War FE
Brónach 1,330 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Aaand they're not giving a fuck about the book one more time!
A24 5,156 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Even though a tad extreme, I like the rage of the zombies, making them quite unstopppable, but the film feels and looks too Emmerich to be any good. I'm not the target audience.Alex - capable of judging movies by their trailer.
Brónach 1,330 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Even though a tad extreme, I like the rage of the zombies, making them quite unstopppableCasteller zombies! Visca Catalunya!
A24 5,156 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Why didn't the Bats think of that in TDKR?
