  1. Oh is that you @rpvee? I just noticed the letters match
  2. Almost all of them are from the same guy too. Hopefully it's someone here that wants to share it, and not some greedy asshole. EDIT: There's some auto bidding going on here too...
  3. On JWFan? Nowhere publicly, it's against site rules.
  4. Not any that I've heard of. All the Star Wars ones for example use the raw stems, any bleedthrough is a tape-related issue and not the result of AI artifacting.
  5. Copyrighted content such as sheet music cannot be shared here.
  6. They have the same chromatic aberration issue that Topaz Video Enhance AI creates. I'm willing to bet that's what they used. Literally the cheapest, laziest method of "remastering" possible.
  7. Oh man, that is some of the worst AI upscaling I've seen! You can easily tell it's AI DNR from all the weird artifacting that's been introduced. I'm convinced they didn't even actually rescan the elements, just upscaled them. Notice how the only difference is that the height has been increased ever so slightly; most people using AI upscaling do that to hide this weird sharpening effect that appears at the edges of the frame, particularly where the black bars begin.
  8. I'm pretty sure that's @InTheCity Also can we take a moment to appreciate that he lives in a beautiful medieval castle? Great breakdown by the way!
  9. Something I've been curious about but haven't asked because I don't want to come off as though I'm complaining (I'm definitely not!), but was there intended to be synth brass/strings throughout the last third of both versions of Low Below? The brass is definitely synth in the full/vocal version, whereas the strings are synth in the instrumental version (and possibly the vocal version). I have to assume this was either A.) intended by John or B.) temporary and intended to be rerecorded later, but not (due to the song being cut). Then again, they sound a lot more like modern virtual instruments, so I'm not sure what's going on there. They still sound great no matter the situation!
  10. This has been a major concern of mine for the last few years: AI upscaled film scans. There is absolutely NO reason for AI to be used in the process of scanning and remastering a film, unless it's been horribly damaged or degraded. The old process for remastering (sans DNR) is pretty much perfect as is, you cannot get better results than that without corrupting the image, making it look fake and waxy. AI (and traditional DNR by extent) should only be used in the most extreme of circumstances, if even that.
  11. It's so strangely sad for a happy ending. It's a weird indescribable combination of emotions.
  12. Coincidentally I was going to make a similar comment a few days ago about this same section. It's neat that we all seem to have had the exact same experience with the same piece... You have a hard time describing it, but everyone here knows precisely what you're talking about. Just Johnny's brilliance on display again!
  13. Yeah. Idk if they were credible in the past, but in recent years they're just terrible.
  14. I should clarify that when I initially replied for whatever reason my mind went to the cut section of "Blowups", not the cut opening of 6M11-New. 6M11-New I'm inclined to believe was recorded; not only is there clearly a tail of reverb at the beginning that we have, but the cue log lists the runtime as 1:41, whereas the recording we have now is about 1:30.
  15. I noticed that too. It'd be odd if they consistently left that part out of every single video game.
  16. Personally I've always used Vegas Movie Studio, but they don't sell a legit version anymore (it was taken over a few years ago by a shady company with a terrible BBB rating, I've had negative dealings with them in the past myself). So if you went with that you'll want to go with an older version from back when Sony owned it. Or just something else entirely. Are you on PC or Mac?
