  1. Sorry about that, Melange. Thanks for posting that version. The one I posted featured the great Yuja Wang on piano. Maybe this link will work: https://youtu.be/Eh9IaiPU0so
  2. I'm listening to JURASSIC PARK right now. Track 12: Ailing Triceratops. A beautiful and touching piece. It was effective within the film and works great out of the film.
  3. My copy came in the mail today. Brilliant work by LaLaLand Records. The packaging and booklet* is outstanding, but the music... it's phenomenal. I listened to THE LOST WORLD first. I'm working on JURASSIC PARK right now. The sound is rich and it's a true privilege to be able to listen to all of the music from both of these films. Honestly, it brings me back to my enjoyment of these scores at a young age. As a kid, I'd listen to JURASSIC PARK every morning (before school started) on my CD player. If anyone from LaLaLand Records is reading this, I send my deepest thanks. *The toothless T-Rex isn't really much of an issue, for me. It's all about the content of the booklet and albums with this release!
  4. ALIEN. Always great to revisit. Love Ian Holm's performance. And I'm currently watching HOME ALONE 2. It's simple, but fun. Includes a great score, too. Can't remember the name of the composer, though.
  5. The music fits well, for what we've heard in these clips. I liked that he didn't lean on Williams' music for the entire JURASSIC WORLD score. I think that will give us an indication of his scoring technique for STAR WARS. I'm expecting respectful nods to Williams, but an all-Giacchino sound. It only makes sense, as well, considering these are branched off from episodes one through seven (and, eventually, eight and nine).
  6. Recently purchased the STAR WARS: ULTIMATE DIGITAL COLLECTION from HDTracks. 20% through their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. The music sounds gorgeous. I own the RCA releases from '97. While it's nice to have the additional music, I prefer the original LP presentations. Still need to pick up the high res version of THE FORCE AWAKENS on HDTracks, too.
  7. Thanks, Jay! Also, regarding this release, I had to laugh about the toothless T-Rex. Pretty funny, but I'm sure it's an error that LLL will correct. I'm just happy to have these complete albums. The first copies of these scores that I owned were on cassette when I was about 5 or 6 years old.
  8. I've had Rey's Theme from THE FORCE AWAKENS in my head for a week or so now.
  9. Ordered my copy on Tuesday. Really looking forward to having both of these complete scores. The samples sound great.
