He will most likely return to Vienna, too. But Berlin is as good as it gets. The orchestra is awesome. -

ACROSS THE STARS - Williams / Mutter collaboration album
Steve replied to WilliamsStarShip2282's topic in JOHN WILLIAMS
You can add the three recent arrangements, as performed in Pittsburgh: -Scherzo for Motorcycle and Violin -Anakin's Theme (for Violin) -The Duel (for Violin and Cello, new arrangement 2023) -
I have to say that I prefer the sound of the Silva release of Jane Eyre. The alternates are a great find and much welcomed. Especially the short source piece is fantastic and it's a pity it has to end so soon. Heidi however sounds fantastic and better than the previous release that I own. All together it is a great release though. Hopefully more television work will be released in the future.

Does this rule apply to all Williams scores from 2005 onwards, except for Revenge of the sith, which was recorded in London? -

A very nice video from 1991 with Williams playing some of "Somehwere in my memory" on the piano and talking about scoring the film: -
