Intrada haves shipped my package of 5 Quartet titles, including Heidi, Dad and Theater of Blood

Zero, same as ever. Haven't had a packaged stopped for years.

And arrived today, along with Zorro & Sneakers. After my Intrada parcel spent a week waiting to clear customs, Hook arrived in the UK yesterday and passed though customs in less than an hour and delivered today. Now to get them ripped so the listening can commence...

Oh they will for sure, just probably not until January now.

I take it that everyone's who's orders have shipped ordered before the 24th Nov ? Beginning to think I should have ordered through Intrada, it would be on it's way by now.

You say that, but a few years ago, my BF order got missed and didn't ship until the new year.... so it can happen. I did get a complementary CD as as an apology which was nice, but yes, I may be a little paranoid that it'll happen again. They must have gotten a crazy amount of orders if they are still shipping orders that came in on the first day. I ordered around 24hours after it went live, so on the 28th. 8 days on and they are still shipping orders from that first 24 hours..... That's a lot of orders.

Still nothing since order went to Await Fulfilment on 30th. unlikely to arrive in the UK now before Christmas, or even this year with what the post is like these days. oh well, hopefully the podcasts are coming soon to bridge the gap before mine arrives and I can join in the listening. on the plus side, this has obviously been a big seller along with the othe BF titles, so congrats to LLL and hope it’s a nice end of the year for them. just hope they don’t break for Christmas until my order has shipped lol…

Listened to the expanded today, and blimey, if that's what it's like after they fixed what was it like before.... Still plenty of wrong & bad notes exist in the complete score. But what a glorious release this is. Had hoped to place an order along with McArthur which I will probably still do, along with possibly some of Quartet's final releases for '23, but I guess Intrada underestimated the demand for this one as it's now out of stock until January so will have a long wait for anything to ship now. First batch sold out in a couple of weeks - don't see that very often these days.

Thanks for posting that. Mine should arrive Monday. But how to catalogue it in iTunes..... Each full OST as it's own album and group the selections together (and use OST coverart) , or keep the disc themes (but then have the problem of what coverart to use) Oh.... First world problems, why do you trouble me so !

I think I'm right but just want to double check. If I have the 4 disc Great Movie Themes and the 80th Tribute to sets, along with the boxset then I have everything from Sony. There is nothing on the 3 disc Music of America that isn't already on the Great Movie Soundtracks set. From the titles it would appear to be just duplicats but just wanted to make sure there were no unique versions or anything.

So does track 57 just require the first part of track 46 to make it complete? Have they just put the alternate segment in rather than the full track ?

And arrived. Looks lovely. discs are in thicker card sleeves which have spines with the titles on. Covers are a bit of a mixed bag whether they use the Philips bar at the top or not - could really do with a nice set of matching covers for this (hint hint cover designers). Currently ripping disc 2: Pops in Space Will start listening later tonight.

I've also been considering about getting a second copy. a) as a backup b) to get the fixed Azkaban tracks If it comes back into stock around the same time as Schindler's I may also get another copy of that - also for the fixed tracks.

Now listed with a price on Amazon.co.uk - £117 !! Having a laugh at that price so have ordered it from Amazon.it for around £60. Can always cancel if co.uk drops the price.

Quartet's final releases of 2021 coming Dec 8th "Our last batch of the year, which includes 4 releases (one of them a 3-CD set) will be announced on December 8. All titles will be ready for order and immediate shipment on that day. Stay tuned!"

Looking forward to seeing the tracklist and of course ordering it along with Toy Soldiers. Does this just leave Quartet to announce their final releases now ?

Just finished listening to this release and I'd say it does sound slightly better than the Kritzerland. However after initially listening to the sound quality to see if I thought it was better, I quickly ended up just getting carried away by the wonderful music. Great release and the artwork looks great in person - a version of the Kritzerland cover is on the back of the booklet. Great notes as well. Thanks LLL
