  1. Shame on you for purchasing such a thing.
  2. Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I enjoyed the score. Nothing more.
  3. King Kong I can't watch this movie without noticing the glaring technical flaws. Two T-Rexes fighting over a woman. One T-Rex even drops a 30 foot lizard it had in its mouth, the blood dripping down its throught, to go for the girl! That makes no sence, I mean if you're eating a huge turkey would you drop it if someone rolled a vienna sausage under your feet? Also let's mention the Lizard the lizard is quietly eating then stops and chases the girl! For what! Animals don't kill for fun. He had a good enough meal why would he chase her. Another thing, everything on the island is suppsed to be big right? Then why aren't the T-Rexes big? How convenient Kong's biggest opponent is just his size. And then there's that scene where Kong first takes the girl he runs with her and is flopping her around like a damn doll. Yet her neck or spine doesn't break. Yeah right! That kinda crap ruins movies for me.
  4. Futurama sucks, it's not funny, it's boring. It's just the Simpsons in a different century.
  5. And you didn't record this or tell us about it!
  6. Jarhead Loved it. Howl's Moving Castle A visual treat, Miyaziki never fails to please. He creates these awesome imagery for the audience. But I always have one gripe with his films. He never seems to have one cohesive plot line. There is always gaps missing or things unexplained. He almost says to the audience, "shut up and go with it" Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire This movie sux.
  7. Stop gloating, and bashing those who actually have Faith in Williams. I'm bashing those who have faith in the Academy.
  8. I hope you all have learned your lesson.
  9. He was asked and he didn't do it, good, catastrophe averted.
  10. Get me statistics. If one's opinion is in the minority, it doesn't mean it's wrong. Yes, they were. Rowling somehow managed to become a worse writer than George Lucas. HAP was Ed Wood territory. Oh god is this what i sounded like when i ranted about POA? If so by the graces of god take my deepest apology, i express it to all of you who have to listen anything remotely like this crap. Please forgive me.
  11. King Kong I liked it, the first two acts weren't too long i thought. The special effects were amazing as expected. However i have a couple of problems with the movie, its realism is nonexistent. Kong is running with the girl and flopping her around like a rag doll and her neck and spine don't break? Yeah right. Also everything on the island is big, bigger than they are in real life. The bugs are big, the flies are big and Kong is big yet the T-Rex is regular size! WTF!?!!!?!?!. How convenient that this mutation didn't affect Kong's opponents in the movie. Another thing. the T-Rex is eating this juicy lizard that's at least 15 foot long, the blood is dripping down his jaw but he throws it down and chases the girl. Things like that do not happen no one especialy animals will throw away a large meal for a small one. It would be if one of us were eating a juicy chicken and we see a sausage roll by, we drop the chicken and we fight for the sausage. It doesn't happen. Brokeback Mountain I liked this movie, it didn't blow me away but i thought it was good. I expected the first act would be just flirting, Jake noticing Heath's body or the oher way around. There is none of that, they literaly talk about life and heard sheep for about 40 minutes. And then BAM they start having sex. It is such a shock that even i was a little taken aback. Heath just shoved Jake's face into the mat and rips off his pant and well you can fill in the rest. I have to tip my hat to those two though, the chemistry they have in the movie is very intense, they kiss so passionately you never really question their love. I hated the cinmetography, Lee missed out on capturing some of America's most beautiful landscapes, he should have made a bit more effort.
  12. Yes, yes, we get that you don't care what other people think about Williams etc. So what makes you think your minimal input means anything to anyone else? Well this is a thread where we can share our feelings about this development, I just wanted to share my lack of feelings.
  13. Destiny's Child Beyonce 50 Cent Tweet The Faint Postal Service Gorillaz Black Eyed Peas Jason Mraz The Mars Volta Sam Cooke Bob Marley In terms of genre, anything and everything under the sun. I love all types of music.
  14. I just heard the score for the first time. It's great. However i've heard people commenting that Avner's theme is better than the main theme to Geisha. I was surprised and excited to hear it and now that I have I can simply say that Avner's theme is not even in the same league as Sayuri's Theme. Avner's theme is sad but not as powerful as Sayuri's, Sayuri's seems to fly Avner's doesn't even flutter. But that aside it's still a great score.
  15. I wish for a good freshman year at college.
  16. Guess why you love Harry Potter so much! Try to listen to any Star Wars or Indiana Jones sometimes too! Mirko - who has just posted 3 eek emoticons and have yet to listen to Attack of the Clones. Um E.T. still doesn't stand up to SS and I've listened to Indiana Jones and SW and both of those still can't compete with HP.
