  1. I will say that his theme for FOX's Human Target is an earworm if there ever was one.
  2. Randy Newman and Jeff Rona are also great melodists.
  3. In a 1998 interview with Dan Goldwasser, John Carpenter described his stylistic approach as "anti-John Williams," so I can understand where the confusion is coming from.
  4. Given his success updating the Superman sound in Man of Steel, Zimmer would be good candidate.
  5. If he already has the Lex Baxter and Howard Hanson originals, does that count?
  6. Or is Beltrami the Dallwitz to Glass's Glass?
  7. So is Beltrami the Gregson-Williams to Glass's Iglesias?
  8. Plot Holes Of Unusual Size. (I don't think they exist.)
  9. The impact of a piece of music is generally subject to the tastes of its listeners, though some effects are more universal than others.
  10. I simply hate pot holes! Oh wait you said plot holes... More specifically, plot holes you could sail an oil tanker through. I hope none of my friends have plot holes of that size. P.H.O.U.S.'s?

  12. Audiences today are more sophisticated and don't need composers to fill in the emotional blanks for them.
  13. LOL, so he ended up at NRO.
  14. 1996 or 2002? Basically, you need all the albums, but the OST is good enough.
