King Mark 3,631
- THE EXORCIST (Mike Oldfield) Tubular Bells Yes,but not tubular bells, more that bizzare string piece that opens the End Credits.Dunno who composed that, but it's a concert piece not meant for film.K.M. Omen II 1,235
John Carpenter's Halloween is an obvious but excellent choice. If there is time, rush to the store to get Lalo Schifrin's The Amityville Horror.

Jim Ware 526
The end credits for The Exorcist are scored with Fantasia for Strings by H.W. Henze. The piece can be heard here.
King Mark 3,631
What about Minority Report? :? :? yes, that's pretty much my POV also.Anyways,MR' score is so bad outside of the film it's scary in some way.K.M.

King Mark 3,631
Yes,some cues on Images, that's pretty freaky, probably more than anything else by Williams, including Abduction of Barry.K.M.
tharpdevenport 4
I just listened to SIGNS in the dark, the whole score. Probably one of the few cds i have that i have no complaints about. Has ever cue i wanted from the movie and is well represented on the cd.

Lurker 5
Goldsmith's Alien is a very creepy and unnerving score. I'm probably posting this to late though to be of any use. Neil
Melange 446
Well, the obvious choice of poltergeist has already by mentioned....so....Without a doubt, some of the Horror cues from Horner's BrainstormParticulary the scene of First playback or Lillians Death (now that would scare any kid if you chase them in a mask). When i listen to it on good headphones its the freakiest demonic soundtrack i've heard in some places. Second would perhaps be that freaky overly long "wooooooooo" choral thing from 2001 where they first discover the monolith or when Dave Bowman enters it near the end. Then perhaps Carpenters "The Fog" (i mean the piece of music at the start where the scary story is being told to the kids by that gnarled sailor on the beach at night). Wonderful creepy music. That wonderful frantic organ/choral "Fallen Temple" music from Damien Omen 2 by Goldsmith must rate very high indeed as kid chasing music in a scary mask with saliva drolling from your mouth. Then perhaps "E.T and me" (just joking). Why not "Imagine" by John Lennon?. or perhaps "Close to you" by the Carpenters?. or then for afters how about Harry Nilsson's "Without you" or "I guess the lord must be in new york city"?. The best would be the theme from the Simpsons. As you can see, i ran out of suggestions and started acting like a crazy person. Oh, why not Duel of the fates by our very own?. Dont mind me. I'm just Melange.
