Sure "failure is not an option" is a nice quote/principle, but again it was more about the whole act of leaving the planet/human spirit of exploration and whatnot that really inspired me. Yes, I understand "inspiring" means all those things you say.My question was, what exact thoughts and ideas it put into your head? Thoughts about the essence of the human mind (or soul)?A simple question but almost impossible to answer since that movie has been an important part of my life for 30 years now. It has put like 10.000 ideas and thoughts into my head. I don't know any other movie that is so provocative as BR. If I had to single out one thing it's probably the power of aesthetics.
