Burrarum!

Speaking of which, would it not have been fun if Williams ever composed a cantata in Entish for soloist chorus and orchestra? Maybe based on Treebeard's poetry? But then again, it would have been a loooooooooong piece.

That would be a fantastic idea! I am sure Williams would approve of the idea of the shepherds of the trees!

Yeah, sure. Chopping trees to make shitty music... I'm sure the guy would love that.

It is kind of like taking a tree, cutting it down and *gasp* making instruments like violins, celli or violas out of them...

Many trees died to bring us this music.

That's why Zimmer is actually more of a tree-lover than John Williams ever will be: no trees are harmed during the making of his scores.

And Hansy boy still uses a full complement of strings in every score but makes them sound synth BB! A Messenger should know better!

You know what. I cannot recall if I've ever read BloodBoal discuss a Williams' score or not..... Robin Hood score, sure. Final Fantasy scores, Giacchino scores. Current movies, anime movies, Game of Thrones.

But Williams.... hmmm I cannot recall! What brought you hear, BB?

Yea, but you can just play the 20th anniversary release of JP on Spotify while you are working or driving or something. Not exactly a big undertaking...

... Eerie, yet surprisingly tonal. I wander what algorithms they used?

Are there algorithms?

It looks like this is literally reading bumps in the tree rings and playing them.
