If we try to reach the normies citing reasons such as "there's a 5-second insert in The Ewok Battle that is missing!", people at best will not understand why that is so important and at worst make fun of us. But if we say that we need to restore every contribution to Star Wars music ever done by John Williams for future generations and relate it to the quest for preserving the original version of the movies, I think we could get a lot of sympathy within the fandom.
