John Crichton 4
There is nothing on the Sony releases that is superior to the RCA Special Editions.

ChrisAfonso 188
I'm sure some screensaver community really got hyped by Sony's marketing.
klokwerk 0
The advantage of the Sony rereleases is - the RCA's are no longer readily available everywhere, and people who cannot track the RCA's down, can still enjoy the wonderful, complete Williams scores for the orginal trilogy.Having said that, I couldn't find the RCA's at first (and I knew they were better), so I bought the box of the Sony releases and now also have the superior RCA releases of ANH & ESB. I still need to find ROTJ.
diskobolus 3
I was able to find all 3 RCA limited editions within a day of searching ebay and other such sites.

batmanand 0
RCA is better. Simple. Sony is easier to find. But to be honest, what we all relaly care about is the music, so on that they are identical. The linear notes are brilliant on the RCA, though.
