  1. True, but generally he copies material from other recent works, whereas AOTC came out 20 years before he started scoring DoD, and I'm not sure he'd even recall this somewhat obscure (mostly unused) cue. I just can't really imagine a 90-year-old JW sifting through old sheet music he'd written decades ago to look for inspiration.
  2. Single credited piece. Then again he did a lot of uncredited work on the SW sequel trilogy so I wouldn't be surprised if he did a lot more then they're willing to let on for DoD. Not that it matters, at the end of the day it's all great music.
  3. Yep like @Presto said the Main Title sample is mistakenly in mono, so it'll definitely sound much better on the CD.
  4. If there's indeed footage of the first Star Wars session ever, then it needs to be included! It's too historically significant for it to not be!
  5. I checked yesterday too and couldn't find anything Either it was removed, or we both happened to misinterpret another post. This is the only thing I could find:
  6. They said last year that Spider-Man 2 & 3 were pretty much off limits, so that would be an incredible surprise if they're ever able to do either of them!
  7. The BoBW set is one of my favorites These ones have some great selections too: The Best of Star Trek: Volume 1 [CD] (gnpcrescendo.com) The Best of Star Trek: Volume 2 [CD] - (gnpcrescendo.com) Black Friday
  8. Somehow I didn't notice until today (or forgot) that Bill Ross has an orchestrator credit on Rogue One.
  9. I'm thinking the ruling might actually be just for UHD discs then, and not Blu-ray and UHD. I can't seem to find anything about the rules applying to standard Blu-ray. The releases I mentioned were indeed UHD-only.
  10. Region locking Blu-ray and 4K discs now is against some kind of Blu-Ray Disc Association rules. There were one or two recent releases this year that were region locked, but those studios said it was due to some sort of manufacturing error. Also the ones that were locked were very obscure films from studios I've never heard of. Definitely not big studios like Disney. In other words, no. We can confidently say that this release will not be region locked. (NOTE: This applies to the UHD discs specifically)
  11. That's so weird, I just started having this exact issue with Acoustica Mixcraft when they released their newest version a couple months ago. I think they just recently fixed it though.
