Arlington= NO syrupy!

One of the most expressive and emotional of JW's (string) pieces.

It's a bit too much.

For various scenes in the film? I thought it worked very well for the most part. And an excellent end credits piece in its own right. Cloying or syrupy do not come into it in my opinion. But it is fascinating how differently we hear these pieces of music.

The climax of the Hymn to the fallen. It's just too much.

Otherwise an excellent cue.

Nah. You just can't handle the high notes that express overwhelming grief. ;)
