soundwave 0 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Not sure if this is posted anywhere, but Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 comes out this week. I played a demo and it had some of John Williams music in it. I wonder if there will be any JW unreleased music spread out through the game?
Xander Harris 9,677 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 If not, then they leave us no choice. The cruciatus curse ought to do it.

Luke Skywalker 2,385 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 I'm getting the full game today, i'll check.
Luke Skywalker 2,385 Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 1st screwment of the day:Bye bye to the 'Music' and 'Cutsecenes' folders. The game is just split in seven DAT files.Even if we could record it we would not have the background sound to eliminate it I suppose those dat files are not easily opened...
Luke Skywalker 2,385 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I'm not going to play this game...i'm already a little tired of them to play a franchise i dont really like...NO HP fan is going to check this? I also do not know the unreleased music by heart, so i would not know correclty if i played the game on its entirety...
Frank Vincent 301 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I'm busy playing the game on my PS3. I'm at Year 2 trying to defeat Aragog, but I haven't figured out how to do it. According to the information on screen I have to press the button with the circle on my controller to pick up a spider and throw it, but that doesn't work for some reason. I'm not sure, but I though I heard some unreleased music during the chess game sequence in Year 1. You have to play each level two times so I will check as soon as I played all the levels once. The music is chosen well. Year 1 only has music from Philosopher's / Sorcerer's Stone and Year 2 only from Chamber of Secrets. Well, that's not entirely true, because I heard "Hogwarts' March" from Goblet of Fire coming from one of the record players in Year 1.

bondo 33 Posted July 11, 2010 Posted July 11, 2010 Been playing through the game and I'm hearing some of Malfoy's Theme in the CHAMBER OF SECRETS part (the theme that sounds amazingly like Attack of the Clones). Is this theme present on any of the HP OSTs, or is it unreleased?
Jay 46,244 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Hmmm. Somebody else told me that there was no unreleased music in the oggs. Curious.
Luke Skywalker 2,385 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Hmmm. Somebody else told me that there was no unreleased music in the oggs. Curious.I would be interested in these. The PC version does not have oggs.I have hope then for Lego SW III, it may still have oggs encripted somewhere too
Demondm810 473 Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 I've been playing through it as well, nothing unreleased has come to my attention. The parts in the game are frequently not represented by the correct music. For example, the battle in the girl's restroom against the troll uses music from COS' "Spiders" when Harry and Ron are escaping the forest after meeting Aragog.
Jay 46,244 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Probably because the troll music wasn't on the HPSS OST
King Mark 3,975 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Do these oggs have SFX like the Lego Indy? Only a few of them could be sound neutralised

I'm disappointed they didn't use The Whomping Willow cue for the scene with the Whomping Willow.
oxley 0 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Can anyone please identify the piece which plays during Year 1, Level 6?
King Mark 3,975 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I wish I could lower my video game standards enough to play a Lego game
Xander Harris 9,677 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Do you have a link to the level on YouTube or something?
King Mark 3,975 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I'm surprised they don't remove videogame You Tube walkthroughs because of copyrights violation
Ollie 1,375 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 I wish I could lower my video game standards enough to play a Lego gameYeah cause playing video games is already such a high standard.
