Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was ordered from the UK if memory serves. Temple of Doom and Last Crusade I found on a local store on sale and were the only copies they had. Sadly not Raiders, but I would imagine that one was also available on jewel case.

I've only seen that one as a jewel case. The digipack, as far as I know, was part of the box set. I did find the other three scores on their expanded Concorde incarnation as jewel case stand alone releases a few years ago.

Unlike what is said on the press release, this was available on both CD and vinyl in the late 80s, retitled to "The John Williams Band Plays the Music of Harold Arlen".

I don't think this was ever posted in complete form. The black and white files, as far as I remember the story, came from a ntsc to pal transfer. During the transfer the colour info was discarded.

Regarding concerts/events Williams attended, he was part of the Bowl welcoming event of Gustavo Dudamel. I think I have video grabs of that one on some back up disc. https://www.laphil.com/press/releases/967 He attended Dudamel 's 1st season opening concert that featured the premiere of Adams' City Noir and Mahler's Titan at Disney Hall. He can be seen in the audience very briefly on the DG DVD release. I also remember that someone saw him at the premiere of Goldenthal's opera Grendel (maybe someone at FSM boards).

Actually, it was the other Stern, Michael. Ma played indeed Haydn's 1st Cello Concerto, along with Williams' Heartwood. The encores were Rosewood and Pickin, from the three solo pieces. The program also included Bernstein's On the Waterfront and ended with Respighi's Pines of Rome. What a line up...

If this was in Europe I would be sure, but since this is happening in Japan, maybe we have a very slim chance they release it physically over there. Still, not holding my breath on that.
