  1. I'd bet something like that could exist. That AOTC featurette thing that was excluded from the DVD appeared out of nowhere on Youtube. Maybe the Ultimate Edition of POA will have it.
  2. I got the Wizard of Oz Emerald version for 15 bucks today at my wholesale club along with Body of Lies.
  3. A vial of his blood, and vintage strands of hair that originally grew from the top of his head.
  4. Dracula, Jaws 2, Japanese Temple of Doom, Close Encounters of the Third Kind CE and Varese issue, the Anthology I guess and deluxe Home Alone 2.
  5. Does anyone have a recommended order for Catch Me If You Can? I don't think mine's right.
  6. I caved and got Quantum and even Dr. No, both on sale 12.99 at Best Buy. They've got the other Bonds on sale as well. Very tempting.
  7. Good form! I had that CD long box. Hook is the earliest soundtrack I remember listening to and wondering WTF had happened to certain tracks that were alternate to the film version, like "The Never Feast" and "The Flight to Neverland". So disappointing.
  8. Parts of the Patriot leave a bad taste in my mouth because they have a certain David Arnoldness? Maybe I'm the only one that hears it.
  9. Has Always been rumored/announced or something? I want that.
  10. Overall I enjoyed Alice, but it was a fairly average movie with some cool visuals and nice moments. A little slow in the middle, and I was hoping for more of a backstory when they started to show flashbacks. I also felt Depp was a bit too weird, the dance was absolutely horrendous, the ending where Alice goes into railroads and takes a boat should have been completely deleted and re-done. Also please stop with the horrible pop songs in the end credits, Mr. Cameron and Burton. Thanks. Still, it was the best I've seen from that hack Burton since Sleepy Hollow. Parts were undeniably vintage Burton. Just that opening shot with the moon and the clouds I was expecting the frickin' Batwing to shoot up in the air.
  11. There's also one at the beginning of "The Return of the Jedi" on the Anthology and possibly toward the end of "Brother and Sister" (although that's been debated) in all film recording versions.
  12. Wish they'd submitted something like this for Titanic.
  13. I heard the theme live with the Boston Pops in 2008 Film Night. I seriously dig this score. It's been getting daily plays. The first 15 seconds of "Sabrina and Linus Date" alone are everything I love about JW.
  14. Is it me or is this just a phenomenal piece? I'm not partial to the Back to Titanic recordings like the suite, "Lament" or "A Shore Never Reached", but this one has the distinction of making it into my Titanic playlist. I love it. Dare I say it's the highlight of that entire second album.
  15. I got the Batman 1989 book at Best Buy for like 22 bucks. I decided to pull the trigger on the book rather than the Anthology since they're releasing them all separate in a couple months.
  16. The rest of the finale/credit music is bright, uplifting and representative of the grandeur of the dinos. But they aren't all friendly leaf-eaters...
  17. Lately I've been loving it. I've always enjoyed it. It's the perfect JW score to put me in a good mood on a rainy day (as I proved this week). It isn't JW top 10 material or anything like that, but it's a damn fine little romantic score. I've even been playing the party scene, so there we have some additional source music that has made its way into my JW playlists. The movie is not bad either. It's pretty much screwed since it's a remake of a classic starring Audrey Hepburn and Bogart. But I actually prefer Harrison Ford and Greg Kinnear to Bogart and Holden in the original.
  18. I've been seeing Quantum of Solace on sale, but I kind of want to wait for a special edition like they did with Casino Royale. It seems prime for a double dip. Today I got (500) Days of Summer for 12.99 at Target and Bonnie and Clyde book for 14.99.
