  1. Why does anyone even care? The cuts to CR are so slight that they're hardly even noticeable. In other news, there's still no sign of the supposed price cut for Dr. Jones. Not yet anyway.
  2. Picked up Kingdom of Heaven, Sherlock Holmes, and The Matrix this morning from my neighborhood walmart. $3.96 a piece!
  3. SOME Star Trek scores and SOME Bond scores are overrated, yes.
  4. Exactly. I'm of the "prequel generation" myself, but I still scoff at the prequels for being terrible movies.
  5. Ah, it's clearly been too long since I've seen the film!
  6. Sounds about right, but don't forget that a decent amount of those 45 minutes show what Gandalf and the others were up to in the first few chapters of the ROTK novel. As such, these scenes belong in the third film. If I'm not mistaken, the only scenes that would have to be moved to TTT are the ones that directly involve Frodo and Sam. Sound a bit more reasonable?
  7. Most of those changes bothered me too. If they had left them out, the film could have ended as the novel did; with Shelob defeated, Frodo being carried into Mordor, and Sam left alone with the ring. That's what I would have preferred. It's possible this would have also granted the film makers enough time to include the defeat of Saruman in the Shire at the end of ROTK.
  8. That's odd to me as I felt that ROTK was as good as it possibly could be, given how badly they screwed up the ending for TTT.
  9. I understand the desire for consistency, but is the "limited edition" label at all accurate for Star Trek II, III, IV, V (as of the Intrada re-release) or VI? I don't wanna be too anal, as the covers look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I just thought I'd ask.
  10. Can't say I agree with Fal on this one. The special is very, very, exceedingly bad!
  11. I wouldn't mind Giacchino, Arnold, or even John Powell (well, maybe). Just don't give us Zimmer!!
  12. Yep, "Harry Meets Lucius" has a bit of AOTC too. The two movies did come out the same year...
  13. And that, is why you will not have anything from KOTCS Or Chamber of Secrets as of this evening!
  14. Damn that was fast! Y'all best look into final fantasy again, if you catch my drift...
  15. Still haven't seen/heard The Fifth Element, but I completely agree in regards to 24, For Your Eyes Only and GoldenEye.
  16. Sure I'd like to have Arnold back, but I'm listening to Skyfall right now and I like it too, particularly Voluntary Retirement, New Digs and the beginning of Quartermaster.
  17. I haven't heard a word about PoA sessions floating around. Just Chamber of Secrets. I know. I still want PoA over CoS. You're right, PoA would be better, but I still want 'em both!
  18. In that, uh, thing at the place, there was a link to a thing of COS from the same seller as the KOTCS one. Yep and I'm watching the seller myself. There's no way I'm the only one.
