  1. Well you should really watch the original movies and then go back and watch CK. If I had never seen the movies I'd definitely have a different opinion of the show.
  2. Any specific reason why you feel this way? Have you seen the original movies and if so did you enjoy them?
  3. It's a great show that stays true to the heart of the original movies. I highly recommend it. I won't spoil anything, but there's a scene in season 3 that's in the same fictional location as the original movie, and the same cheesy 80's song is played. Brought a smile to my face.
  4. I just got done watching season 3 last night, several good flashback scenes that really got the emotions going! I believe kids nowadays call it "the feels" LOL

  6. Home Alone Parts 2 & 3 are up as well as Karate Kid Part 1
  7. I'd love to see an IJ box set to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Raiders, but with the new movie officially announced I seriously doubt it. I'm also not going to hold my breath for a SW box set release, can't imagine how long it would take to work on a proper release for all nine scores! So, with that said, here's my top 5 predictions for likely releases for 2021: Hook 30th anniversary (LLL) The Patriot (Intrada) Fiddler on the Roof 50th anniversary (LLL) SpaceCamp (Intrada) Presumed Innocent (VS) I really like this idea, @crumbs ! This would be a fantastic way to release several movies at once with short amounts of score.

  9. I found this interview on Twitter last night. I have finally started to listen to this podcast, currently on Daddy-O
  10. New episode is up! 2020 year in review https://theindycast.com/the-magic-of-john-williams-54/
  11. It was better (to me) in that for the most part the main characters had already been established in Phase 1 so they were able to expand upon them. What I meant instead of previous 5 years was Phase 2 on, didn't bother to look up the time-frame of the Phases.
  12. This! I would only experience Marvel-fatigue if the shows / movies didn't match or exceed the previous 5 years of movies.
  13. I am definitely not as knowledgeable about Amistad's score other than the OST, so an expanded released would be revelatory to my ears.
  14. The Patriot, Hook, and Amistad are my top-3 for most wanted expanded releases by the boutique label gang, other than SW and IJ of course. All three scores would greatly benefit from proper expanded releases!
  15. I'm still watching, although I'm not sure why LOL I guess it's the fact that I've watched every episode of every (live action) series so far so don't want to miss out on anything. IMO, this season has not been as good as the prior two. I don't care about the burn or where it came from. 923 years or however long it is, is way too large of a jump into the future. The Voyager glimpse was nice but other than that they haven't put any of the futuristic Starfleet vessels front and center for fans to get a great view of them and their capabilities. I feel that time-travel is too big of a go-to crutch used in the ST universe.
  16. Maybe he is more open to removing his mask in certain situations since his run-in with Bo Katan and company. That’s what it feels like to me
  17. HA pt 1 is now up! https://www.iheart.com/podcast/105-the-soundtrack-show-29021108/episode/home-alone-the-music-part-i-74970111/#
  18. touché I take back my original statement about it being a kid's show. I didn't get my point across eloquently enough, apparently.
  19. I never said I didn't want to discuss the show, good grief folks. You all are entitled to your opinions and I in turn am entitled to mine. We'll agree to disagree on the show, no feelings hurt on my end.
  20. My point is some people are taking it way too seriously. Life's too short, especially in this day and age, for me to fret over camera angles, plot gaps, etc... I take it for what it is and like what I'm watching. It's all fantasy world in the first place, so for me it's a great escape from the daily grind. Like the old saying goes... "There's a butt for every seat".
