  1. I have not unfortunately. I am currently operating off of EWQL through Play and various other libraries in the Kontakt format, but not Vienna
  2. I don't work with it in Sibelius, but yes that's typically how I do it in my software. They do have Key Switchable patches for a lot of their instruments so you can keep it all in one MIDI channel, but I find them to not be quite as good as doing it a line at a time with different articulations. I know there is another way as well, at least in my software, where you can write in one channel with different colors of MIDI which activate different articulations (provided you set up the routing correctly), but that just sounds more messy to me.
  3. Agreed about Fallen Kingdom. I'm still far more of a fan of the first film's score. Fallen Kingdom has grown on me over time, but still has not overtaken World.
  4. It’s certainly not ever necessary, but there are some nice little reprises and variations from Snicket I’d like. Plus, the pit band cues would be fun.
  5. Thomas Newman's score for Lemony Snicket. I'd love an expansion for that. From my knowledge of the score, there's around 20 minutes worth of unreleased music, including the pit band source cues. That's just what is known about, there's plenty of evidence that suggests there could be alternates and other unused cues. Hard to say for sure though. Nearly nothing else has ever come out from the score besides the OST and the film itself. Some areas are a little complicated though as I know there are some cues that seem to be just remixes of previously recorded material (which is common for Newman) as well as some inserts recorded to patch together tracked music...not sure how those would be handled.
  6. Two titles at Sony Music you say? One of my non-Williams holy grails is on Sony
  7. Haha. That's a very good point. I should just think of today and savings for the Black Friday batch.
  8. Welp. I'm not gonna lie. I'm a little disappointed personally. I wasn't one of the ones expecting a slew of Williams' releases or even a Williams release, but there are plenty outside of Williams I'd like to see expanded. So, to see 3 OSTs among this bunch was probably the biggest disappointment, but I totally get that those are a part of their business as well. Oh well! I'm glad that there are people excited about some of the releases and hey, I grabbed the new Varese releases the other day so I'll still have some scores to pour over the next week or so.
  9. Dunno. He seems like a genuinely nice guy so I'm sure it would've sucked to go through something like that.
  10. THE FLYER HAS LEAKED. I REPEAT. THE FLYER HAS LEAKED!!!!!
  11. Wow. They care so little that they even screwed up the audio mix. Tons of phasing issues. Good grief. Not surprising. They aren't even releasing the Snyder Cut on Blu-Ray in the US yet. Guess I'll have to import it. Lol.
  12. Oh that looks fun! I really love the look of a lot of electronics made in that time period. Everything looks weird now.
  13. Maybe not physically very different, but the protocol at which material is put onto them is certainly different these days I'd imagine.
  14. Oh boy! Varese got some orders out of me. Let's hope LLL does too!
  15. Agreed, it's one of my favorite Beltrami scores and I haven't heard it in a long time. Great opportunity to revisit it! Also agreed. Damn. Maybe I should rewatch it this weekend. It's been awhile!
  16. Wow. I am completely surprised by Knowing, but sure! Lol. I've also never heard Lionheart, but...sure! Why not? EDIT: Aaaaand.. Ordered!
  17. True. I never go anywhere. I've actually literally never been anywhere. I'm not even real. I'm a construct.
  18. Wow! Didn't realize how much of an exciting weekend we're in for! Probably will miss out on the fun tomorrow (absolutely swamped with work), but I'll be around on Saturday. Looking forward to it!
  19. Lol. I think you're being too optimistic with Marvel. I have like a separate "Marvel" scale I measure their movies on. This looks different enough to me for a Marvel film. Oh well.
