I absolutely adore this album. It has been accompanying me on several autumnal walks in the past weeks and made the experience so much more fascinating. Definitely up there with the best albums of 2023. Karol

Romeo and Juliet is a must. What an exceptional score. You could start from the Silva Screen recording done by Nic Raine and City of Prague Philharmonic. Karol -
Anyone here succumbed to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray?

Watched both Barbie and Oppenheimer today on UHD discs. Both are exceptionally looking discs, although from (obviously) different points of view. Nolan's film definitely holds up upon rewatch, by the way. I've seen it only once at the cinema and my experience at home was just as impactful. Love or hate him, but he did exceptionally well this time, right on the heels of his worst failure (Tenet). It's not the kind of film you will watch often but it is a high mark in his resume, for sure. Definitely among his finest. Karol -

Great batch. Two essential Horners, classic Williams and Jarre. These four for me. 😀 Karol

Watched Spielberg's Duel earlier today for the first time. It was pretty good actually, I can see how it helped to launch his career. Karol -

Listening to Laura Karpman's What If...? She's almost like the new Shirley Walker of the superhero music. Her episode scores have similar sense of playfulness to them, with many having distinct style, and there's plenty of nods to existing themes. Really well done. Also, glad we got 3 hours and 40 minutes from the first season. Hope the second one delivers too. Karol -

LOKI - show and score SPOILERS ALLOWED for aired episodes

I didn't mind this new season of Loki but I have to say, like the majority of these Disney shows, it feels like a story for a fairly decent 2-hour movie stretched way too thin over this many episodes. Karol
