It's a tough decision though, I think I would try to convince John to let me stay for the rest of his scoring sessions for the next twenty years... As much as I would like to watch the maestro working on a score or leading an orchestra, I prefer listening to the score while watching a movie for the 1st time, when the score is ready and synchronized with the picture. I think I love Empire's score more as a whole, but the Flying theme from E.T., as I have said many times, never fails to give me goosebumps. It would have been fun to watch the movie while the orchestra played the score live. The greatest segment of music from ET was conducted seperately from the movie, and the movie then recut to fit the music. Harry Potter is a great score, but doesn't come close to the other two.Final argument for ESB: Imagine hearing Asteroid Field for the first time LIVE, with the images onscreen!
