Well, I would have bought it on blu ray, but I moved back to Germany in the meantime, and while the movie was only 13€ here, it was also region code B... and my blu ray player moved with me from the States :-/ Most other releases are region code free here, but not Tintin

Actually there is misprint, it should be Spielbergiltä. They didn't have Scandinavian keyboard.

It doesn't make any difference if the word ends in "a". We have 15 different "grammatical cases" in finnish.

If I choose to example word very finnish thing Sauna, it will go like this:

in Sauna= saunassa

from Sauna= saunasta

to Sauna = saunaan

without sauna= saunatta

etc. 15 different endings....very complicated...but because of that, very rich language!

Plus the nightmare in all the linguistic rules are the myriad exceptions that usually boggle the minds of most non-natives. Especially in case endings and in verb conjugation.

Finnish language is agglutinating which means we add a lot of material to the word stem to express some things for which other languages have a lot of prepositions or postpositions for example. This does not mean we don't have the aforementioned prepositions and postpositions as well. A rich and complicated language.

That depends of what do you speak. Not everybody uses cases. This said it seems common in the old languages of around here so it doesn't feel very alien. But I don't think my Cantonese friend sees anything weird in the tone of a word having phonetic value or a Semitic speaker would see anything weird in their trilateral roots. But, given the speakers that I normally see around here, it could drive us nuts.

Oh God, I like too many languages. I don't know what to learn after French.

I'm from Belgium and Tintin is an important character for me because i grow up with these stories.

I pass everyday in some train stations who inspired some pictures of the comics.

I was in Bruxelles when Spielberg came for the world premiere. I saw Spielberg in his car 4 hours before the premiere when his escort overtook our car on the road.

At the premiere, I don't received autograph but i took a lot of pictures. My pictures are not really good, my regret.

That was crazy. They played the soundtrack in all the place. It's a great memory. I remember how the ground vibrated with the John Williams's soundtrack.

It's not my video but it's always amazing to look and to hear that. (I don't took videos, another regret)

I saw two time the movie, the day of his release and a week after. And I bought the combo DVD-BR the day of his release.

The adventure of Tintin is a great adventure for me, a lot of good memories, a good adaptation, a good movie, a good story, good musics.

Just some bad stories with Sony.

For me it's the best Spielberg's movie since 2000.
