Looking for suggestions: whimsical Williams

Does anyone have any suggestions for some whimsical Williams cues? Looking for things along the lines of "Sailing" and "The Menu" (Jaws 2), "For Gillian" (The Fury) and "Jim's New Life" (Empire of the Sun). Really love when he writes in this style. Thanks!

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is some of the most whimsical action music Williams has ever written, IMO, this side of TINTIN, INDY 4 and HARRY POTTER 2. And I'm afraid I don't mean that in a positive way.

But I'm afraid I don't hear 'whimscality'(?) in the suggestions given in the first post. That's not the word I would use to describe those cues.

Actually, I recently made a playlist of Williams in "playful" mode. Here are a few that I think will float your boat:

Follow Me from Always

Isabelle's Horse & Buggy from Stepmom

"Festivity at Thornfield" and "To Thornfield" from Jane Eyre

The Snowball Fight from Harry Potter 3 - It's the second half of a track. I separated it from the Womping Willow piece that precedes it on the OST.

"The Fighting Donellys" "Blowing Off Steam", "Fighting For Dough", and "Oklahoma Territory" from Far & Away. The re-imagined 'Theme' for solo violin that Williams recorded a few years later also fits the bill - the energetic first half at least.

Tourists on the Menu from Jaws

Going To School from Memoirs of a Geisha

Making the Plane from Home Alone

All three of the instrumental pieces in the 18-minute Reivers suite. I've named them "The First Car in Town", "Hightailing it for Memphis" and "The Horse Race"

Come Phil from Heartbeeps

"Training with George" and "George Sets the Pace" from The Eiger Sanction

Great Performances Theme

"Popular Entertainment" and "Arts and Sports" from American Journey

The Float from Catch Me If You Can

Presenting the Hook from Hook - I prefer the shorter OST version over the expanded release.

Arrival in New York from Home Alone 2 - again, I prefer the shorter OST version

Luke's Rescue from The Empire Strikes back

Reunion in Italy from Monsignor

Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

"The Adventure Continues" and "Snowy's Theme" from Tintin

Short Round's Theme from Indian Jones and The Temple of Doom

"Jim's New Life" I know you mentioned that, but I prefer the slower (it took me a while to get used to the tempo) concert version.

To Charleston from The Patriot

Seeding and Horse Vs Car from War Horse - at least the second half.

Amazing Stories Theme

The Forest Battle from Return of the Jedi (concert version)

The Tale Of Viktor Navorski from The Terminal

Thanks! Excited to check these out. On a side note, I wasn't aware that there was a rerecording of "Jim's New Life"!

Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to ask for "Williams in Prokofiev mode". :)

I couldn't disagree more.  TFA has some of the most ballsy action music Williams has written in many, many years.

Ballsy, maybe, but still whimsical up to high heaven.

I'm not following any of the STAR WARS threads, but just from reading the topic titles, it's been fun discovering how much people drool over this thing. Certainly a far cry from my initial reactions (which still hold, although I've warmed slightly to it after repeated listenings).
