In 1954 we awakened something.

Those nuclear tests in the Pacific...

Not tests.

They were trying to kill it.

*Bond glances around the room* 'Well, that shouldn't be too difficult'.

'What about the money, padrone?'

'Launder it'.

“Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of those rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.”

Actually, the correct English is: "You will not pass", but who's counting?

Actually, the correct book quote is "You cannot pass". Which is a much more powerful statement if you think about it.

Some from an all-time favourite film:

"Where are you from, Nash?"

"Lots of different places."

"Are you a faggot, Nash?"

"Why, Garfield, are cruising for a piece of ass?"

"Garfield, cover that head!"

"Hi. I'm Candy."

"Of course you are."

"'Real smooth shave'."

"Hey, man, what does 'baffled' mean? What does 'incompetent' mean?"

"Hello, pretty."

"My cut has improved your voice."

"Nice to see you again, Kurgan. Who cut your hair?"

"I am in disguise."

"Happy Hallowe'en, ladies."

"You have the manners of and goat, and you smell like a dungheap, and you've no idea of your potential. Now... get out!"

“When I was a kid, I used to see men go off on this kind of jobs... and not come back. When they did, they were wrecks. Their hair had turned white and their hands were shaking like palsy! You don't know what fear is. But you'll see. It's catching, it's catching like small pox! And once you get it, it's for life! So long, boys, and good luck.“

- Le salaire de la peur (The Wages of Fear), Director: Henri-Georges Clouzot
