stewdog1 50
Since we have a top 10 theme for JW, I figured we could take our shot at a non-JW theme top ten list. This one can be much harder, but I'm putting down my favorites of all time.1. Star Trek: TMP - Goldsmith2. Once Upon a Time in the West main theme - Morricone (One of the best themes of all time)3. The Magnificent Seven- Bernstein4. The Mission - Morricone5. Midnight Cowboy theme - Barry6. The Trees from Medicine Man - Goldsmith7. 007/James Bond - Barry?8. Back to the Future main theme - Silvestri9. Dragonheart main theme - Edelman10. ???I find it very hard to remember many secondary themes from other composers. This probably has something to do with the fact that JW writes secondary themes that are as good or better than most main themes.
Mr. Breathmask 555
This is very, very difficult. Some that come to mind:The James Bond Theme - Monty NormanThe Good, The Bad & The Ugly - Ennio MorriconeTara's Theme - Max SteinerMain Title Theme (from ST:TMP) - Jerry Goldsmith

John McClane 1
In no particular order.1 - Forrest Gump Themes (every theme) - Alan Silvestri2 - The Last of the Mohicans - Trevor Jones and Randy Endelmann3 - Star Trek (The Motion Picture - Main Theme) - Jerry Goldsmith4 - The Good, the Bad, the Ugly - Ennio Morricone5 - Once upon a time in the West - Ennio Morricone6 - The murder theme form Psycho - Bernard Herrmann7 - Gone with the wind Main Theme - Max Steiner8 - James Bond Theme - Monty Norman9 - Profondo Rosso Main Theme (Deep Red) - Goblin10a - The Bone Collector Main Theme - Craig Armstrong10b - The Simpsons Main Theme - Danny Elfman (WTF?!?)Well, this is very difficult, since 90% of my soundtracks are from a guy called John Williams. There could be some more from Ennio Morricone (Once upon a time in America, A fistful of Dollars...) but hey this is a top 10...I also put the Simpson theme, yes "WTF" but Elfman IS a film music composer and The Simpsons are going to be a film too, actually. Morlock 11
I know how, but this is one case where I have no desire to. I would love to respond to stewdog's wishes, but seeing as I cannot do so, I will at least indulge mine.

Morlock 11
One I could pick, I'd just take the one most striking to me at the moment. Ten I can't. Twenty Five I can't. Out of the 90, I'd currently pick Great Expectations, mainly 'Kissing in The Rain'. One of the greatest tracks ever, featuring gloriously what is IMO one of the greatest love themes ever. Actually- better make that 91, I forgot to add David Arnold's instantly classic Stepford Wives theme (at least IMO, of course).
